Lets seem some scores, lets see what your system is made of. It's a more friendly benchmark for Windows 7/8 users.

Go to this link and download the software:
http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/benchmark/index.html

1. Download the ZIP file

Click on one of the download sites below, agree to the Software License Agreement, and download the file.

2. Uncompress the ZIP file
Uncompress the downloaded file and specify a destination to save the unzipped files.
* Please extract the file using your system's default file manager. If you should choose to use a third-party zip tool, it must support files larger than 2 GB.

3. Execute the EXE file
Execute the uncompressed file – ffxiv-arr-bench-character.exe
* Select the language to display, carefully read through the Software License Agreement, and use the software.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Setting Up the Bench:
To be listed on the reader board, you must use the preset "Maximum" or Extremely High. Resolution settings can change but your score will only be grouped in the same resolution class.

2. Post a screen capture of your score card.

3. Post your results in the following format.

[*B]USERNAME[/b] - CPU @ CPU SPEED - [No of Cards] x Video Card @ GPU SPEED/MEM SPEED - CPU COOLING/GPU COOLING (AIR, H2O, LN2, Peltier, Phase, etc)

example:

Pako - 3770k @ 4.8ghz - [2] x GTX780 @ 1228/1552 Mhz - H2O/H2O

To get this information, you can use TechPowerUp GPU-Z that you can download here.

2.6GB. Bleh.

The way my connection is acting tonight I'd be better off downloading this tomorrow.

^Nice Run! That puts you in the #1 spot for that resolution. :D

I edited my clock speed notes for the GPU area since the ones I noted weren't from GPU-Z but from PrecisionX. The new ones are from GPU-Z instead. Nothing else was changed.

Curious on the clock speed. Was that GPU-Z reading under load or desktop idle? I did think that 1267 was on the high side, but wasn't sure on the 600 series.

The first set was from PrecisionX while the video card was under load. I didn't notice that you said to use GPU-Z so when I saw that my clocked looked completely off compared to the reference one, I re-read the post and saw that you wanted GPU-Z  .

Yeah, no worries. GPU-Z is just more universal. Hate to exclude those ATI guys. :D

I'm sure someone will definitely burn my system, but in my opinion it was amazingly fluid & playable (esp. on the complex battles which the lowest I've saw is 25 fps) which is pretty surprising to me.

I expect significantly lower for my home PC.

Edit: Forgot to change to Maximum... Rerunning.

I was going to mention that. Post your specs to so we can get ya up on the board. :D

I reign supreme. For now.

I'm nearing the point where I need to pick up new cards and maybe a new PSU as well.

Yeah...it happens. Check out dice1998's single card run, just a few points behind yours. You have a lot of life left if you can handle dropping ingame quality down. I have a hard time doing that so I tend to bleed on that cutting edge, at great sacrifice I might add.:D

You know I can't let an ATI setup reign supreme for too long right? Tell you what, enjoy the day for night fall is coming and it will be dark! Muwahahaha!

I don't do so well with sacrificing image quality either. I may wait and see what becomes of the possible Titan Ultra and 790 news, if nothing becomes of that I'll either 780 or Titan. I dunno.

Why do you think I said "For now."?

 I hear ya! My advise would be to stay away from the 790's unless you are looking for a single card solution. The power delivery system would have to be pretty impressive for me to endorse another dual GPU card. 👍

I would imagine by the time they're ready to hit the market they'll be using 22nm dies, so it might be two 8-pins. I'd be truly impressed if it were two 6-pin connectors though.

In any case, can you say "mild increase"?

Updated, hopefully correctly this time!

Got you updated, and look at that, second play for the 1080p single card section! :)

If this becomes popular, we make an integrated graphics section also. :D

I can't believe 25mhz made that much difference! Updated.

Tell me about it. I was trying for 900 on both cards but the DCII still suffers the side-effects from my unsuccessful flash a while back. :P

Pako, it's 1280x720 not 1024.

Does it matter if it was windowed?

These are my results.

Thanks for the heads up, will update accordingly.

I'll get you updated. I was hazard to guess that you should score better in full screen vs. windowed. So for the sake of getting the best score, I would run it full screen.
