i dont know if any one has already said this but i want an option to build your own car like they had baci sega gt for the pc. I really liked that it let you build your ultimate car so in gt5 if you want an old metro egine in the middle of a db7 with a four speed gear box it can be done and a sort of history of motorsport mode where you race that seires of cars like f1 or wrc through several decades

Tracks
-More real tracks like: Macau, F-1 tracks...
-Some "forgotten" tracks like Montjuic, Jarama, Estoril, Jerez
-The most important stages in World Rally Championship:Col de Turini, Ouninpohja...
-Some kind of "Dakar experience"

Cars:
-World Touring Car Chapionship cars
-World Rally championship cars (this includes WRC, Junior WRC and Production WRC)
-FIA GT Championship cars
-Dakar cars: Volkswagen Touareg, Nissan Pick-up, Bowler...

The possibility of save your endurance race without going out of it, races with at least 19 opponents ...
There are a lot of ideas that could be suggested...

More australian content, not just the moder cars, also some of the legends, and HSV (holdens tuning house) i dont understand why the clubbie & the gts missed out this time around-
Ford Falcon GTHO phaseIII ('71?)
Ford Falcon Cobra (coupe hardtop) ('78)
Holden Torana XU6 ('72)
HSV Clubsport R8('04)
HSV GTS ('04)
HSV GTS coupe' ('03)
Ford Falcon V8supercar (the BA model, they still only have the AU)
Holden Commodore V8supercar

tracks-
Bathurst (with a 1000km enduro race just for V8supercars)
Albert Park F1 grand prix track
Gold Coast Indycar grand prix track

Big surprise, Aussies want more Aussie tracks and cars, Europeans want more European tracks and cars, Americans want more American tracks and cars... I wonder what the Japanese want? Probably more Skylines and Evos. Personally, I just want more tracks, and fewer duplicate cars. But what I really really really really want is larger fields. I just played the Tokyo R246 Endurance in GT3 with the glorious Corvette C5-R. I led over 80 of 100 laps, and really eventually stopped trying at all. And it took nearly 3 hours. But the worst part, was how little overtaking there was. I was watching the Daytona 24 hours today, and damn, there is tons of overtaking, cars everywhere. The really need like 20ish cars for the sprint races, 30 or so for the longer spring races, and 40-50 for the enduros. And the different classes. Just think about the gameplay if there were two or three classes for every enduro. You have to win in each class, thats like tripling the number of endurance races! Plus the wonderful challenge of trying to with the overall with your class B or C car. That would be really cool. And there needs to be a lot more adjustments that can be made in the pits, switch tire compounds, etc. And not visual damage, but icon damage, especially if its just simple things that can't ruin your race. That would really make the game more fun to me.

That's a great idea! One of the things I enjoy the most in this races is overtaking. It would be more funny if you spend your time trying to overtake cars instead of trying to improve your lap.

All of the F1 Tracks used in the current season. Check out

http://f1.racing-live.com/en/index.html And visit the tracks page for layouts. All of those circuits look phenomenal, Suzuka being one of my favourites. And all the usual stuff, More Cars, Visual Damage, More accurate weight information when buying parts, Visual Modification, etc :)

Just did no shame whatsoever. Instead of just racing queens how about all female pit crews and flagman I mean woman. :sly:

Japanese girls are better... look at their smile...
...and Polyphony crew is japanese, which type of woman you think they could like?

definately need more cars on the grid, but you dont want it to be over crowded, also even with the new console 30+ cars is gonna make it struggle. On Nurburgring or la sarthe 25 or so cars is gonna be nothin but on shorter tracks it would be a giant pain so jsut gotta find the balance between cluttering the track & well, making it a ghost town. I mean Nurburgring with 5 opponents, in all but the fastest cars, they could all have a minute between every car & nobody would be close to lapping or getting close to abnybody else. 50 i reckon is definately pushing it a bit far, although i like the idea of different classes.

Don't forget that loads of PS1 games had lots of cars on track, but when GT moved up to PS2 they used all the extra resources on other things. Would you be that surprised if the same thing happened on PS3?

Probably:tdown:

At least 10...

The number of cars in GT4 is more than enough but dump the volvos and all the japanese crap cars... and get some Ultima GTO and some Ariel Atom, and Radicals and XRT's
I mean who races a Volvo estate??

Get more tracks. In GT4 they invented a Hong Kong city track but just 100km away Macau has one of the mos famous city tracks in the world ( second only to monaco ) and they didn't put it.... :(........ also I know they tested some cars in Estoril and they didn't get the track...

you all should let this thread die off so i can make another one just like it. I really do want to form a list and send it to polyphony along with a car list. The guy who made this thread slacked off and couldnt handle the job. I am also more a elitist, I wont put Body kits and Window tint on my list, cause its gay and you wont see that on a race car.

I am also more a elitist, I wont put Body kits and Window tint on my list, cause its gay and you wont see that on a race car.
The window tints I can understand, but for an elitst you don't seem too smart saying you don't see bodykits on race cars. Ofcourse you do, you see them all the time, touring cars, GT cars, supersaloons ect what do you think they have attached, standard wing's and wide arches. Please, do yourself a favour and stop looking at EVERYTHING that appeared in F&F and NFS:U as having nothng to do with eral racing. The only thing I can say about that film and gamethough, is the style of the bodykits is one you won't see in racing exept maybe D1GP and the odd smaller events, but that doesn't mean in any way that body kits are rice, unrealistic or don't appear on race cars. So unless you decide to think about your views and accept what OTHER people might want, I'm not going to support any wish list you decide to make.

i think your taking it a lil to seriously, Any body kit you see on a real racecar is custom made of carbon fiber usually, any of these cars are already cars you can get in the game. I am an Elitist, and to me having things like Stand Alone Fuel managements that you can actually make maps for and stuff like that where you can tune your car and make more power or less power is much more important than having any type of Body kits in the game. But when i say Body kits im usually referring to the "Buddy Club" kits and such, i wouldnt mind having some sort of body mods like what was in TXR3, some were kind of stupid and ricey, but there were some that were ok.
But im not totally ruling out Body kits as long as its used respectively like in TXR3 without the huge stupid bumpers and shopping cart wings that were in it. I am Open Minded about anything, but i want the list to stick to the Gran Turismo Roots as much as possible. Know what i mean?

Personally I'd love to be able to turn a stock TVR Cerbera into GTS class spec race car, bodykits as you said yousefl appear on race cars, GT is meant to offer car cusomisation and in the past it's offered racing bodies for your cars. I don't always want to race the same damn car as everyone else, the same JGTC Supra and Skylines, I want MY JGTC spec Supra and Skyline. I know where your coming from, but I think if your going to be seriouse about making a list of what people want in GT4 you need to actually include what people want, otherwise it's not the peoples list, it's your own, other than that I have no problem with you making your own list. Why not just start the thread and see where it goes from there.

cause with this one going it wont get past the thread moderation. i see where your coming from and i agree some body customization would be nice, but there is stuff alot more important like getting all of the car sounds correct for example. Like i said Im Open Minded about this but only to a point. You haft to rule out some stuff that is kinda to much or stuff that polyphony wont even look at. I want the list to consist of alot of things that Polyphony will see and think "Thats a good idea". The purpose of the list is to get them thinking, for them to see what the true GT enthusiasts want and to follow through on as much as they can.

I wouldn't for one second thing a bodykit lifted out of NFS:U should be in a GT game, but body kits build for aerodynamics to improve your car I think should be in GT5. I see what angle your looking at this list from better now too. Have you requested a new topic yet?

i want to see a fiero gt in gt5. seriously... it was the first american car to win an IMSA GTU race ,which it did in '85, and won 40 races in the 36 months it was raced.
