I felt the same way about Gillet's GT5 Car Wishlist that German Muscle felt about this thread so I started working on a car list that includes all cars posted in both threads, Ill post it here when Im done if you want.

Well, no offense, but why do you have the percentage of the GTA's in your signature ? Don't get me wrong, I mean you can do whatever you want to do, and other people have rather sensless quote's as signature, but I simply don't understand it...
GTA series is not about racing, and if I'd put a list with games I've played through until a certain percentage, my signature would need 2 pages at least, 50 pages if I also added the games I don't own (as you did) ... just wondering....never mind though

New Idea: If weather effects won't be somehow new or spectacular in the future, Polyphony can raise the value of the track line up by adding seasons!
That means:
Spring - default
Summer - very hot asphalt, better grip, but tires are graining faster
Autumn - time for wet asphalt
Winter - of course, all tracks are full of snow (and ice too), imagine the Nur with Snow^^
And for the Cars:
Only those which represented or represent the maker the most!
More of those which pushed automotive history or represent a decade the most!
And as salt in the soup: more exotics.
That means:

This is a small thing and not of high prority but it still BUGS me and it goes for all racing games. There is no racing for credits or kudos or anything else in "Real Racing" other than Trophys and MONEY! In the NA version make it $$$$Dollars$$$$.

It not getting updated is only one thing. The fact that the list contains neon, window tint, and other retarded things like that is what concerns me. I seriously dont want a list like that to be sent to polyphony. it would be an embarassment to this site and its member base. To me it just seems like any request will be put on the list and that would be a list i for one do not want anyone to see.nickmp0wer
I dont really have a problem with his car list. Then again i dont care as much about the cars as i do polyphony adding new features and details and getting them right on. The car sounds and how cars act need to be corrected bad, i dont want any new features to be added if they arent going to be right ya know? I was going to leave the car list part of my list up to Gillet since his thread blew up and the list is huge. If you feel like you can do better than ill use your list.syclone538
The Grand Theft Auto Series and the Gran Turismo Series are the biggest and most popular games for the Playstation 2. These are also the only games i really care about. The only other games i have besides the ones in my signature are the 3 ATV Off Road Fury games and Auto Modellista(Which im trying to get rid of) and Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3. Ive beat GTA3, GTA:VC, and GTA:SA. I just didnt do the hidden package crap or the tags, but each one i have beat and the credits rolled. Ive beat the ATV Off Road games also, and ive beaten Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 as far as you pretty much can without dicking with the last couple wanders. They only race you under certain guidelines, but i think they are scared if the PulsarMax_DCWell, no offense, but why do you have the percentage of the GTA's in your signature ? . Everyone else has their Gran Turismo Statuses so i figured i would to. i added the GTA games cause it was just 3 more lines(4 counting the space). If you have a problem than i will gladly take them off. If its to large or something. I know its not a big deal but im just letting you know why i did it. 6 is not good it is pathetic, but maybe okay with GT's A.I.
Online racing with 6 other players should be good.
20 cars per grid is what they should aim for.

hm, it must depend on the length of the track!
for example: 20 on the Nur is still too less!
And if PD finally includes a full season and grid of the JGTC, then PD has to aim for nearly 40 participants.
BTW: Thats a new idea for GT5: like Race Driver 2 GT5 has to feature a complete Season and car lineup of the JGTC!

Ok out of thread, but...
if you don't try to reach 100% on GTA... you're not a real GTA3 fan, that game was conceived for searching and esploring, especially in the giant world of GTA3:SA. If you're glad to post your % on your signature, reach 100% at least...that could be your real boast! It's like all gold on Gran Turismo, only more funny. (Ah, remember that only a moderator can ask you to edit your signature).

I find it funny that you are questioning my Grand Theft Auto Enthusism because of the fact that i didnt get all the insane jumps, hidden packages, oyesters, tags, etc I have beaten the games. regardless if it says 54% or 100% the game is still beat. And BTW Licenses in GT3 do not count toward your % complete. In Other news, i pre-ordered GT4 today. God i cant wait to have this game in my hands.ragundy

Sorry but what is GTS:SA? I have all of three games, GTA3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas, all 100% cleared... but you're right, the "3" isn't in San Andreas and Vice City.
I forgot that, even I'm sure that Vice City and San Andreas are GTA3 sequels... (like Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2). My mistake.

Different ways to fun; My fun in a game is to complete it in all of its parts, then all golds in GT, all insane jumps, oysters, hidden packages etc. in GTA, all identity-discs of all difficulty in MGS2 Sons of Liberty, all batteries in Jak and Daxter...
I'm a RPG gamer mainly (with a great passion for GT and cars), maybe that was the reason of that approach to the games.
Anyway, my post wasn't a question to you, it was only a confutable opinion of another waiting GT fan. In Italy the D-Day will be on march 09, delay excluded.

yeah, less EVOs and Skylines would be nice although i believe we will still see a healthy dose of those cars b/c they are very popular and are jpn cars. Heres the deal, less storias and vitzs and more muscle cars or at least cars that tickle most fancies. Also, should pd get the licenses to porsche, ferrari, or lamborghini, cars such as the 356, 550, any LeMans winning porsche, gtos, and se-30 jotas would be fantastic. ( so i dont get any gruf, the 908s as well)

Hey John Wayne from Florida, try to find the right words next time, for example : " I don't like Lancers and Skylines and I think there are too many japanese cars in the game... I'd like to see more whatever" .... I think you got what I mean. You know it may be"crap" for you but many people like these cars so you should be more polite, shouldn't you? Go and buy Midnight Club Dub Edition and buy 25 inch spinning rims on your Escalade if you don't like japanese cars in a japanese game for a japanese console...

Look, I understand why people get annoyed with all of the lancers and skylines, but these are two of the most popular and longest running sports cars in Japan. Like the Corvette and Mustang in the US. Additionally, GT1,2,3 are the only reason that the WRX/Evo wars have come stateside, to the point that our current STi is the envy of the rest of the world, what with the extra 500cc of displacement. So, get over yourself, there are 700+ cars! Even if 100 of them are lancers and skylines, there are still another 600+ to enjoy!
I don't mind the number of skylines and scoobies and lancers, but really SO many?
Was speaking to a friend earlier, and suggested even one of each of say the Skyline, Evo, Scooby, NSX, Supra and maybe Trueno or something, would allow say six more cars from much more diverse categories.
Say for example a good set of touring cars to go with the Alfa and Merc cars. Maybe add the legendary Ford RS500 Sierra and E30 M3 BMW, which were real icons for their time.
To miss cars like that, perhaps for the sake of "another" evo or scooby is a bit silly.
Still overall, my only real gripe is I'd prefer no more of these carried over cars. GT Concept ones are ok, but the Mk1 Lotus Elise model is clearly from GT3, and is pretty poor in quality. It is clearly to a lower texture standard than the current and latest GT4 models!
I mean, they've had four years, nearly five. Why not spend a bit of time to re-do the textures at least for those cars they've re-used?

The idea of having trucks in the game seems silly to some but I like the fact that not only do they have trucks, they have their own race. The lightning and x-runner are both very cool, however, you cannot have sport trucks without the syclone and/or the typhoon. The s-10 extreme would be cool as well as the Dakota r/t. Also, not that I hate or am dissatisfied w/ the sst Silverado, I think that the ss would be nice because it is a truck that people actually have and instead of the ram larami, the srt-10 ram would have been more appropriate...and fun!!!
