Oookay, who is up for another tuner challenge?

Pitty I already submitted my 300ZX then. I'll have to save my RGT for the next one:dopey:, because I'm a big fan of the RR style set-up.
Does anyone know why Porsche didn't use their name and RUF were still able to be used??:grumpy:
(for that matter where is Lamborgini, Maserati and Ferrari, the only car makers I can think of that are not represented):dunce:
RUF are a German specialist Porsche Tuning company as far as I know?

RUF indeed modifies Porsches, however, they are considered a manufacturer and therefore have rights to their vehicles. Aaaaand said rights happened to be easier to get than Porsche's.

Of course, the money:dunce:
Though I thought the companies themselves would be throwing money at GT for the advertising alone. Maserati, Lamborgini and Ferrari not being their is the only thing about GT that is missing, in my opinon

are changes to the setups still allowed?? i'd like to make my Swift a bit heavier..,

*edit - made some changes to my setups:

RX-8 - gear ratios
Impreza - gear ratios
Swift - ballast

The SVT R '00, it's very nicely put together.👍

Glad you like it. :) It's one of my favorites.

If we still have more time to make adjustments, I noticed a new problem with my RUF over the weekend and am trying to rectify it.

I got it handling pretty good. The problem I found is that it gets pretty squirrely when braking hard from 200mph.

I'll try and fix it or minimize it without redoing the whole setup. If I can't, oh well.

Ok then. Midnight it is. I'll try and post one more car. Most likely RWD. If not then It might be something in FWD or N3's.

Well this one is looking much more power-oriented, that's for sure

Now to just wait and see if that's good or bad :scared:

And I cobbled mine together in about a half hour based on a drift tune... It still wants to drift. Just does it more nicely.

I left mine in drift setup. Haha. I wonder what the judges will think. I think they'll tell me it needs some sort of downforce.

Just want to apologize once again for entering my N3 at the last minute. It has no banner or one of my award-worthy "notes", but I promise you all the car will make up for it 120% :D

So, good luck everyone! :D:tup:

My flash drive doesn't like to work as well as it should so its no biggie. I'd have put a nice banner on mine if I could have.

Last minute entries put in by yours truly just to test the waters with the first couple of my factory spec cars coming as part of my garage launch. ;) Have fun taking my "factory" cars to school with your specially tuned monsters. :scared:

so, entries are now officialy closed. any setups posted after will be considered INVALID..,

all that's left is to hand the cars over to the judges.., BTW, is there an enlistment for judges?? just want to know..,

Damn, didn't have time to finish my entrys..

my N3 entry for TCv4 was going to be :
a supercharged "used , no oil changed" Mercury Cougar XR7
It has 800 or was it 900+ Nm torgue and lovely 427 BHP
so till next time see you at TCv5.

It's good :sly::sly: It means that people will be tested for their ability to tune a high powered car and not be put down for using one because everyone else will be in one too. Unlike previous challenges where speed was often handicapped just to maintain good handling, anyone can make a slow car handle well.

I've messed around with every RUF in 3 an 4 and they are the hardest cars to tune with Sport tires:crazy:

The RUF wasn't bad to dial in. Instability during high speed braking is probably the biggest issue, tried to cure it but I think thats an attribute of being a rear engine car.

Although the inability to install a VCD made it tough, and I didn't know what the torque split was. (obviously couldn't change it) I believe Porshe uses a torque split of 35/65 (F/R) for its awd cars and I'm not sure if RUF keeps that or not.

Bottom line is that it was more of a personal challenge. When judging is over, if any of my cars finish in the top 5 in their respective categories, I'll be happy. :)

Well, I couldn't be bothered with N3-class.. I did try, but it was so frustrating that I gave up.. but, I believe to balance over power in the rest of the classes. power might help at Suzuka, but elsewhere it's just going to be a problem.

All I have to say is that if EITHER of my factory spec cars beat ANYONE's winged, lightened, race spec entries I'm going to be having a great big  at those people's expenses. :D:D:D:D And they aren't even the cream of my new crop. ;)

I mean, come on.....it's a bloody pickup you're racing against in RWD!!

Also, reviewing the entries, Shoman is going to be pissed off at himself unless it was deliberate. An Audi TT without the VCD settings?? Can someone say FF Audi?? :dopey:

Holy crap Mafs! I didn't see it:scared: I didn't see that. lol:banghead::banghead:. Can I get a ruling or so?

I'm quite sure the TT only has the FWD glitch on the 1.8 models.

EDIT: Sure enough, the 3.2 is proper AWD and therefore no changes to the setup will be allowed.
