Due to the early arrival of the new edition to the family i wont be able to make this racing league

Congratulations mate. Don't worry about the league mate you got bigger things to take care of now.

Congratulations on that!!!

You were my partner too, if I recall right.

Don't sweat it Mic we'll pair you up with another driver.

UPDATE: 2 Spots are now open for anyone wishing to join in.

Thanks ( Mick Col and Oniichan ) sorry about the team Mick, i just wouldn't have been able to make the races consistently, but ill take a wild card place

Hey Oni, unfortunately I'm going to have to leave the league. I have started a basketball team in Monday nights and it is going to clash with this league almost every week. Sorry

Just a reminder the first race for the series starts tonight! My Lounge opens at 8:30pm (Sydney Time).

Awesome race last night guys!!

I have updated the original post to include the current championship standings (click the link to see the spreadsheet).

Also to all others reading we still need 2 more drivers to join as a team.

I second that! Great race last night! 👍
Had alot of fun, and clean fun more importantly! :)

Did you see my penalty at the "corkscrew" on lap 10 mate?... :grumpy: What a crock of 🤬! I was not even off the track... :banghead: That may have been the decisive moment preventing me from winning considering I was just starting to gap Toivonen... Oh well, still had a great race with him anyway! :)

The replay is great too for anyone who saved it, there is action throughout the entire field so at no point is there nothing happening! 👍

On another note, would be great if we could get those two more drivers to fill the grid! C'mon guys you are out there and most probably have read this thread at some stage. Great car, Great tracks and most importantly Great clean competitors!

P.S. 100 posts... YaY!... :dunce:

Yeah was a great race Xerks.. Shame about that penalty you received it looked a bit suss.

I had a blast trying to get past Wog and then chase down you and Toiv. I ended up watching the whole replay and there was action all around the field, small fights for positions and different pit strategies being used. Was a blast for race 1. Looking forward to race 2.

Be great if a few more people join to fill in the other team.

Also congrats on the 100 posts. :P

Last night was a good tough race.

I have to admit I had done zero practice on the RH tyres. So for the first 5 laps I was in all sorts of trouble. By the time I was able to put the softs on I was at the back of the pack.

But that rule of start on RH for the first 5 laps brings a great element to the series.

Then for the rest of the race me and Spinner had some good battling at the back of the pack so I still had lots to do.

Yeah mic key is to practice on the RH to get the jump at the start, I watched you on the replay mic you had the rear steppin out abit but was a good race,

Toivonen showed some excellent tyres wear.
and i agree the RH brings a better element to the race!

Last nights race was a brilliant one. A lot of different lines and pit strategies going on made for some great battles. Toiv just dominated the race from start to finish with his tyre wear and pit strategy.

Haven't had a chance to watch the replay yet but am looking forward to it when i get home today.

Yeah cool mate i watched it twice last night.

watch me on lap 27 i did that 1:19.2 on lap 28.
and watch my grid start :D
good last 10 lap battle also oni

I watched the replay today , my race wasn't as bad as I thought. Still a few seconds off the reqd lap pace , but at least I was closer than the Laguna race. I was hoping to chase down The Wog , but just couldn't find the extra pace.

Yeah , great battle with you Mic. We were really pushing eachother hey ! :scared:

Yeah that was quite a good battle. I fell back a few times (wall contact - and such) and I really had to dig deep to catch up to you again.

Also I hope I didn't cause you any grief early on, it was a few laps before I realised there was a car in my mirror. It was so hard to see that there was someone there. So I hope I didn't ruin your line or do something stupid.

Yeah there was a part, 2/3rds in, where we were racing. Oni and Lost were catching from behind, I gotta say it was a good several laps before they got to us, I know I could see them in my rear view, but it was good number of laps before they got to us. So we weren't that far off the pace

Nah , that was no problem Mic. I wasn't blocked or anything , I'm usually happy to sit behind someone when we're around the same pace.......then pounce when they make a mistake :)

Yeah , I was doing pretty consistent 22 - 23s towards the end , wish I could have done that earlier in the race. Moral of the story is I needed more practice but the last 2 weeks of my life has been massive. Race director at a state level mountain bike event this weekend just gone , plus I had surgery on my clavicle 2 weeks ago so all this with one arm in a sling ! :scared:

Hey Yellomello.. make sure you and Geti send me a friends request so i can add you to the series.

Are you and Geti driving together or separate teams? Cause if your on the same team your car colour must be the same as each other on that team (example Lost & Catman run light grey) your rim colour is different per driver.
