Boys remember how i got damage lap 1 turn 1 by Waynz super lag (lol). Found out why i couldn't drive the car straight.. my rear wheel was stuck broken at a 25 degree (or more) angle outwards. Here is the pictures to prove it (who says GT5 damage mechanical isn't real).

Oni , nasty rear end there ........ in stark contrast to the usual offerings from Mr. Cactass (see a few posts above)
I remember watching a replay from the IS-F series where bomber drove with a very deranged rear axle. Yours was legit but I think bombers was a replay glitch.
Speaking of..... what the heck happened to Mike / Pawel / Wilco around lap 30 ? My replay showed Will and Pawel leaving the pits , Mike passing them at pit exit then a fair bit of teleporting going on resulting in Mike getting huge damage which didn't appear to have actually happened looking at the lap times. ??

Around the time i saw Wilco going way off passed turn 1. I don't know, the whole thing was messed up yesterday.
Me and Mike couldn't see each other for some reason, in the first session i joined, i saw everyone but Waynz, then in the next two, i saw everyone but Mike.....yeah, i go out of my way, to buy 8x faster internet, put my PS3 into DMZ mode, and yet s**t like this keeps happening. This could only happen on this console.

Nothing happened lol, i had no contact with anyone the whole race, until the second to last lap where I tried to abort a really dumb position I was in behind Stape and just didn't take my current tyre wear into consideration.
Sorry about that one Stape, not my usual style to shove it up the inside.
Luckily it was a relatively small tap and neither of us got damage.
As for the race itself. I just cruised for 40 laps, with a complete lack of tier 1 drivers, I just tried to make my hards last as long as possible so I could have a stint on mediums at the end.
Didn't put in a cracking lap though, final result was a 1:32.6xx on the mediums.
I just noticed Oni, your fastest laps were with hards on the rear and mediums on the front, interesting
Hopefully next week goes smoother.

sorry i couldnt make it guys totallly forgot and had the ps in the room dont think the misses woulda been happy trying to sleep with the wheels going and had to set it up etc definatly be in the next one, .

Hey guys, I haven't seen the replay yet still at work and I will have a look this afternoon. Sorry again to pawel and willco for stuffing there race up with my tank slapper, I was having a good race coming through he field and was just to keen to get a gap and pushing to hard.
In the end I had a good race, battled with spin at the end for a while and I don't think I had one other off the whole race.

Murphy's law on this one, fastest on Series Qualifier (Night), Showed good pace in testing and landed the thing on pole... GT servers shuffled the grid and Mr Lag showed up. You can see why I was quiet in the after party.
All Emo aside, next week will be better due to the minus 77million users hopping on their CoD games.

After watching the replay i need to add Taital to my list of cars i damaged in the race, i thought you got through ok at the time mate but looks like you got damage to.
Strange things happening in that race, i saw mike on my replay with full damage towards the end of the race but it didn't seem to be affecting him.

My experience with this car and running it in:
My first Vantage , I just tuned and drove it myself. At around 600kms on the clock , it had finally climbed up to 762hp , 1 hp short of maxed. It had several oil changes during this time.
Yesterday I bought and fully tuned a new car. Changed oil at zero ks. Ran it in B spec at the Grand Valley 300. After this one event and another oil change it was at 762 hp with an actual 298kms on the clock. I used this car last night , after the race it had lost about 15hp from memory but that was easily rectified with an oil change. She's high maintenance !

Yeah that was a mistake. i was supposed to go mediums but pushed down twice and ok'd the tyres. Was annoyed cause i had no fronts left and had to steer with the rear.
Could of went faster on the hards then that silly combo i just never bothered. Being 1 lap behind half the field when coming out of the pits from lap 1 damage doesn't give you much incentive to push. I would of come dead last if nobody had any 'accidents' ahead of me.

All good Pawell, we all got caught up in Jol's loose. Taital got lucky (for once) and got through.. mostly.
I saw smoke ahead.. blue car on the grass.. red car on the left.. going right.. oh, no, going left.. then right and... boom. Then to make things worse, I pressed x too soon in the pitts and.. hard tyres went on again!
Took a few photos of it last night, as i was rather CBF'd.. i'll put em up when I gets time.
Cant complain though.. on this same track (speedway F) I took spinner out in similar fashion - in the ISF series (remember spin?)
One more thing, as Oni's car had wheels facing in different directions, I had my fronts both pointing in from the incident.. But.. nothing compared to the chan-mans slayer mobile.. that one was definitely rooted...
Good first race though, Mike and Taital stood out.. Mike was untouchable, and Taital.. well, he was just ass getting through that crash at the start. Well done, McNipple.
I still had to work hard knowing once my tyres were worn I would struggle, jasr kept me honest for a good 20 laps, I pitted to early on the second last stint trying to catch mike which dragged out my last medium tyres to last 8 laps, pushed hard for 4 but once mike pitted I had to preserve what grip I had left

Remember the 2 wheels must stay inside the racing line rule. Be careful of running wide at the turn on the final back straight as this would be seen as an advantage and would incur a penalty.
General pit lane exit rules apply and that is you cannot cross the pit exit lines when leaving the pits.

Ahead of the race on monday night, the maccas boys have all been given new orders from the menu.
Spin has been given the order of a strawberry sundae from rota.
Rota has been given chocolate frappe? from Willco
And Will has been given sausage and egg McMuffin from spin.

Almost had driver join us for Mondays race, i was training a driver today who has won numerous simulator competitions which took him to drive a F1 car with Williams, but he can't race Monday because he is in the iRacing V8 Championship at 9:45. Woulda been good seeing him race against a possible Toiv!
