sent to Ouwtje :)

PS:This is a pure drifting machine.Don't expect to take it out for a normal race...you'll be disappointed!!The color I chose is a DLC,GT Grey 004-N,but you can pick anything that you believe suits the real car.I recommend 3 combinations for the tires:
1)Comfort hard front and rear
2)Comfort soft front,Comfort hard rear
3)Sport soft front,Sport hard rear
Finally due to GT5 restrictions the engine power is restricted(real car has almost 600 PS) and that for a moment made me want to cancel this Replica, but it's one of my favorite drift machines and I wanted to share it with you.Really looking forward for comments from the drifters amongst you :)

I took it for a Tsukuba & Autumn Ring Mini drift and I can say it drifts lovely.
So much power, I'm not a good drifter, but it moved around quite easy 👍

After taking some time off, my next replica is ready, the Chrysler 300C SRT8. I have sent it now Outeke and have also put it in my tuning thread.

Cool mate, thanks for sending it over.

I just looked at your thread post, couldn't you find any other detail?
Only LSD settings & Weight settings it can hardly be called a replica

OP updated (!)

Well thats all that SRT did, didn't you watch the Jeremy Clarkson special where he was in America, all SRT did was add power and nothing else.

Here's an excerpt from the website I linked to:

Chassis setup for the Chrysler 300C SRT-8 is aimed at all-around performance with a number of enhancements, including tuned dampers, specially tailored spring rates and suspension bushings and larger-diameter anti-sway bars. New front and rear suspension knuckles contribute to a ride height lowered one-half inch from the Chrysler 300C. And, the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) has been specially tuned for the SRT-8's performance handling characteristics.

So the suspension will be significantly stiffer to deal with the added power and quite a bit lower.

They also installed a different stronger gearbox with different ratios.

When I get on a computer rather than my phone, I'll see if I can find actual suspension settings.

Good luck.

To try and ease the pain of the Dutch defeat tonight I offer up the J's Racing S2000.

It's not orange but I think you have all my orange cars now!

Now make sure you hammer Portugal.

Can I get some feedback please on my first self effort..I have an AC Schnitzer Cooper S '07 in Laser Blue Metallic on share at fisho_man. I have sought to get as close as possible, but weight comes up short at 1410kg on GT5 as opposed to vehicle wt. of 1580kg. I don't know how to get the 172bhp@5500rpm (getting it at that rev count is what I don't know).

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. The next step is how to upload photos as I know they do add greatly to the selling power.

Sweet mate, I'll bring it to the painter and get it in Black, Red and Yellow 👍

You can leave the weight stock, AC Schnitzer don't add weight to the car, they just have engine-management, wheels, suspension, aerodynamics and some interior-parts(steering wheel, shift knob). And where did you found the power-figures? Cause the Schnitzer Cooper S has about 190-220hp depending on which model you have.

Great attitude. 👍 Your team lost the game but you keep your honour.
With van der Vaart in the starting team you can manage to defeat Portugal with a 2 goals margin. :)

Will make some footage this evening!!!

It was a nice game and one of the fairest in this euro-cup.

hmm, the heavy weight is maybe caused by the optionals from BMW Mini (sat nav, aircon...), dunno if you can add so much weight ingame.

for the powerfigures: take these:

for Germany (208hp): http://preisliste.ac-schnitzer.de/a...ll=MINI-R56/R57&Teile_Nr=110056210&ID_NR=1831

for export(226hp): http://preisliste.ac-schnitzer.de/a...ll=MINI-R56/R57&Teile_Nr=110056220&ID_NR=1832

these are datasheets directly from AC Schnitzer...

Thanks foer that ich....I don't know how to get the transmission set vso that i am able to get the power matched up with the revs...if that makes sense. And I added as much ballast as i could in game.

What would you recommend to get it matched as closely to maintain replica integrity? One, I can't read German and can only go off the 'supercars' site. Is the site itself accurate with the figures represented, I guess for our purposes it is fine to go with that, my suspension settings were 'artistically licensed' based on an in-game setup which was also set at the 'ring'.

Hi All, long time listener, first time caller...

I am interested in the Ford AU specifications.
I understand that there is an AU replica out there but its understeer has been removed.
Can anybody advise how to put the understeer back... to make it a warts and all replica?

Cheers

I would like to know, why has no-one made a Mercedes 722 Edition, or 722 GT.
There is a 702 but no 722, and there is no such car called a 702 in real life.
I'd love to see a 722, its just a few more howpower and less weight. thats not the issue, the issue is the suspension, LSD etc. I cant seem to find it anywhere on the interent. Brings to my next point, where do i get the actual data from. I find it hard to find for every car.

2 Buddies drop in at almost the same time.
Sorry I cannot help, I'm a replica n00b...but great to see you both here!!

Me and Outeke have been talking with he suggest either OSE_CAP_SHADOW, Jeep2008, ich122 do the 722 SLR... thats not to say that none of you aren't allowed to do it.
If anyone can find an exact replica of the 722 (either GT or non GT, im heading towards GT) then i cant thank you enough.

@ Outeke & Frenzal

Glad to be here men... Let the replica games begin :)

Cheers

I have a HSV project am working on, I may draw a long bow in terms of replication, but going to see how it goes ;-)
