I'm absolutely buzzing about this
VERY happy to see these! Just need some form of Z car now!!!! Although, WTF is up w F150 Raptor? Get that waste of pixels outta my face, this aint Spintires: Mudrunner!I'm so excited to see the R32 , R34 and F40 rendered in GT Sport.

Alright we have all three bosses of the Le mans in the game. Now we just need the track itself *fingers crossed* it will come sooner than expected.
As for the cars I am happy to see the R34 and the RX7 FD in the line up but as a toyota fan I am hoping for the Supra (mk3) atleast to show up (seeing the whole issue with Toyota themselves one can only hope). Others will wish to see the mk4 supra "super premiumized" but other games has satisfied that need of me (but I am still hoping for it "soon"). Nontheless great news!
I just hope the F40, R32 and R34 in particular get Gr.3 & Gr. 4 versions despite not being 'new'.
I'm pretty sure it's only the beginning, I'd be willing to bet other updates in the future will bring the whole thing closer and closer to the good old GT feeling. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but kind of clashes with the fact that PD were saying GTS was going to be a completely different animal.
Both of these peaked my interest...I suspect sometime in the last few months somebody at Sony put some pressure on PD to re-corporate some type of career mode back into the game, I’m not seeing this as part of PD original plan, but from outward forces.
Addressing this and things like playing offline campaign are quick fixes compared to the time consuming task of adding sufficient cars and tracks.
To everyone saying this is a result of a backlash.......THERE IS NO WAY PD PUT THIS CONTENT TOGETHER THIS QUICKLY. It was clearly in the pipeline already.

Once again, they never said all DLC was going to be free.Interesting is they are mentioning some kind car tuning (maybe mileage point but...), also, don't like that "Free DLC car pack..." suggesting there will be payed ones too...
Not really impressed with the GT League content. It's just the old GT mode and it has not been updated at all. It's like trying to give me some dry belly turkey sandwich with nothing on it. You guys must really be starving for this to look so appetizing to you.
The GT mode has been severely underperforming since GT5. It peaked in GT4 with the addition of 24 hour races, and b-spec. Ever since then it's just been a rehash with no new features and recycled events.

Reading posts on this forum and Amazon etc that appears to be what the long term fan of GT wants........lets hope this and Sport mode can co-exist successfully as it was a brave and interesting step to take.

I just hope we can dispel this thought before the first paid DLC arrives to avoid the inevitable :censored:storm
Sport Mode is great from my perspective it craps on the 'other' version 7 game released for online racing in my opinion! Only the purists (or dinosaurs) wanted GT Mode back, and then is it any different to GT6? Two things I am missing is the old GT tracks, hoping they make a comeback and with some more 'real world' tracks..... AND tuning, upgrades etc.
Some people can just never be pleased, you could give them a million dollars and they'd say "Well, it could be 2 million ...".
People want SP and they got it, and they're still complaining, i think the problem is themselves and not the game itself.
We know this wasn't plan B. Are you really suggesting they set aside a portion of the budget and spent months on these things just in case they MIGHT need it? That's a silly idea. For all we know, this could have been a Plan B just in case the heavy online focus wasn’t well-received (which it arguably hasn’t).
And to be honest social media and the internet just excaberates this tendency. Tbe people who are happy are more likely to be actively playing rather tnan spending time posting.....most of the time.
Eh, paid DLC is fine by me if it's new/additionnal stuff and doesn't hinder the progress of the game if you don't buy it. It's when it's either content that should have been included in the base game or content that is needed to finish the game that I tend to have a problem with it.
Without turning this into a VS thread once more, I think the approach T10 has for their monthly car packs is fair. It's 7$, and you get 7 cars, so do the math. I've always seen it more or less like buying a bunch of digital Hot Wheels to play around with, and FM5 aside and a few of the FH3 packs, the content is mostly new to the series.
Should PD bring out paid DLCs with a bunch of content that was ported straight from GT6, then it's going to be a :censored:storm.
Agreed. Which is why starting this first car pack as free is a smart move, with several GT6 cars present. $1 per car is reasonable to me as well and I'd have no problem paying for new content either.
My concern is whenever paid content does arrive we'll have a bunch of people complaining "KAZ SAID DLC WAS GOING TO BE FREE" when this isn't the case. I've seen that or similar statements all over threads recently and I'm hoping we can get that thought out of their heads before paid content arrives. We'll see though.
That's if you take Kaz at his word. And if there's a healthy mix between paid/free then hopefully I'll only be down $150>$1 per car is reasonable to me
Well, if the game goes up to 500 cars at his end of life, paying $1 each car would make you ~$300 poorer.
I don't know if that's a good deal.
