Real cars...coming to GT Sport.......Even slow ass cars......a pickup truck.....all with interiors and full HD detail.....
*Heads to Amazon and buys PS4 and GT Sport with extra extra fast shipping*

Really though, I'm super excited for that car list. It all shows that in the near future, GTS will have a ton of super nice detailed cars and bring full realism. Real happy.

Massively excited for the improved offline modes with what looks like classic GT Mode but I can't help but feel like if it is ready so soon after launch they should have delayed the game (again) to make sure it was there when the majority of the coverage was being done. It makes little difference to the people regularly checking GT Planet but I imagine the mainstream player who was turned off by the early reviews and talk about how online focussed it is won't see this news.

Any news of bug fixes along with this update?

Would hope that the low quality decals on the cars will be fixed.

Oh and please include a Ford RS200 at some point PD.

Probably not. It’s a lot easier for them to remake a car that they already had in GT5 then an entirely new (the last Supra model was from GT3, there isn’t much they can take/reuse from that) vehicle which needs to be sourced, scanned, etc.
Didn’t GT 5 and 6 have supra’s??

I'm declaring it: This is the best GT game ever. PD are giving the people what they want! Career events like classic GT games, a selection of old and new metal, along with some legends of the game. THE RX-7. THE R32. THE R34. THE C3 CORVETTE. THE SHELBY COBRA. THE COUNTACH. THE ENZO. But most importantly, THE F40 IS FINALLY BACK!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOO! Sorry Project Cars 2, but you are already dead. [INSERT THE MEME HERE] I never thought this day would come. I didn't think it was possible. I gather that my optimism paid off. After all this time, PD are getting their act together. Rejoice!

They had the Super GT Supras and the standard production model dating back to GT3. A lot of people have been asking for a premium version of the regular Supra RZ/SZ-R, which would take a while since they have to start entirely from stratch.

I think their strategy was to promote the online aspect. Perhaps they feared a majority of gamers would ignore the GT sport mode and just play the GT mode (league mode)? Or just as a surprise? Can’t imagine they built it in between the time of the first Beta till now.. I suspect a deeper lying strategy.... or maybe not?

Not there yet though... we still need a lot more tracks... classic GT originals and real world ones! Then it can proclaim to be the best!

One can dream right ? ^^

I wonder if PD have any idea of the excitement that they have created, 20 pages in less than 12 hours filled with practically all positive excited joyful responses to this fantastic news. And these forums are just a microcosm of GT Fans out there. Personally I have loved this game since day one and this news has been the icing on the cake for me.

Well crap... I was happy having a reason to pass on GTS (aside from financial reason). Damn you PD for finally putting GT Mode lol

Edit : OMG those event banners are giving me nostalgic tears, Clubman Club, FF Challenge, Boxer Spirit, Sunday Cup :(:(:(

Well god damn they only had about a decade and a half to make a premium Supra.

Did Not for GT5 didn't for GT6 and couldn't be bother for GTsport.

Why would they now, it's not a nissan.

The Tom Supra GT was premium I remember quite clearly in GT6

Edit: googled it. Only the ‘97 was premium/detailed
You missed the 2005 YellowHat Supra.

Now we can't enjoy a Premium stock Supra since Toyota has decided to become a pain in the bottom.

If PD could somehow get some of road Toyotas and Lexuses, that should not be a problem for them... although I kinda feel like Toyota are reluctantly allowing their road cars in GTS because of their relationship with PD and their need to be represented in FIA manufacturers cup.
