Wow, something Kaz said on Twitter is actually going to happen. Am I dreaming?

Still pretty funny that they’re already putting an offline career mode in the so-called online focused racing game. That was fast.

Great news regardless though, even if the online saves only requirement is still around. If things keep heading in this direction, I may be picking up a PS4 for this.
Well when they started there was still going to be a gt7 down the line, that changed at some point to plan became to incorporate so of classic gt in gts.

Needs a Supra though, probably my favourite car ever.
With a couple hundred more to be added it may make it in at some point but it may have to be some racecar that is something like the ruf/porsche Toyota is being weird right now I thought about their property.

GT Sport - No dedicated single player: "This game sucks i dont wanna play online all the time!"
Nov/Dec Update - New (Free) cars and a dedicated single player added: "This is just a PR stunt PD sucks!"

There is no pleasing some people!

If PD added everyone's wishes to the game the game would be so huge!!

Fast? The plan was to always have a traditional career mode.

Is that a new Suzuki Swift Sport or is that the same Suzuki Swift Sport that was present in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue? The silhouette reminds me a little too much of the old out-of-date version of the car instead of the car pictured.

Old one

Time wasted on Ai mode for the cry babies, I hoped Pd would stick to their guns and push sport mode. Now sport mode will empty as players flood to abuse glitches in AI mode. GT career modes in the last few additions have been credit farm/grind sims, nothing more

Ai is already made.

Thank god if it empties and dies, sport mode sucks.

Gt is car collecting, it was never about racing.

They already exist! Good news is they're premium and just waiting to be brought in. I hope they get chosen in the future to be brought to GT Sport.

I think (hope) Gr. 2 is reserved for Japan Super GT/DTM, since they are a lot faster than FIA GT3 (Gr. 3)
My biggest wish will be a Gr. 2 Dlc pack with thouse cars.
My only concern is that thouse two categories are not FIA sanctioned.

Purchased to game on PlayStation Store today, thanks to the upcoming content. Primarily GT League. But also free cars and hopefully fantasy tracks (both old and new?!).

I hope PD adds cars in packages like based on era (80’s/90’s/...) and type (muscle car/rally/...). That way they can add new events/races with proper limitations/requirements.

They just need those fantasy tracks :
1- Special Stage Route 11.
2- Grand Valley Speedway.
3- Mid-Field Raceway.
4- Trial Mountain.
5- High Speed Ring.
6- Test Course ( GT3 A-Spec Version )

Really miss those courses. I got difficulties imagining how awesome they would look like in the GT Sport engine. Think DriveClub quality. Wow...

These courses and Dynamic weather and day and night time. That’s what I call immersive driving.

About Campaign - It'll be nice to see those back :
1- Formula Gran Turismo Championship.
2- Like The Wind.
3- Gran Turismo World Championship.
4- Dream Car Championship.
5- A one-make events for each company to give a reason to buy other cars.
Agreed, of course. Especially number 5, not because it’s the funniest races but it adds a lot more content.

It' the only way unless they want to do some other Group classification. They could use Gr.2 for LMP2 cars and the like.

For your information.

If players leave Sport mode for GT-Mode then that means players want GT-Mode rather than Sport mode. No sort of glitching is required in this game. At. All.

57.2% take up of the Trophy for watching a pair of two minute videos that is required before you can do any online racing at all says it all.

you're right, I forgot about LMP2, lots of Nissan(engines) there, and its FIA homologated. still I think everyone prefers and knows about Super GTs or LMP1s rather than LMP2 that are more like sidekicks

A revamped Formula GT will be the most awsome thing, paired with Monaco (forgot the GT name, costa di something) and Silverstone!

Not sure if this was mentioned, but I hope they incorporate each new track into GT League as they're added, as well as add in new trophies (ala DriveClub) for GT League's Events and for any other events &/or substantial DLC to come.

Same with driving lessons if they eventually add more tiers to that, also missions as well
might as well keep on adding and adding to that as tracks are added

This is awesome well done PD
Don't know if it has been mentioned, would love to see some V8 supercars introduced love driving those things around the mountain (Bathurst)

Group 1, 3&4 are all not FIA sanctioned. 90% of Gr.4 cars are fictional and half of Gr.1 are VGTs. Why would FIA have a say in which cars are being put in Gr.2?

They didn't just whip up GT Mode in the month since release, I'd wager it's been planned as a component they can bolt in post-launch when it was ready

This ^^^ PD havent the resources to pull this off in such a short time, Kaz stated way back Free DLC and a single player mode. Just because it wasnt in at launch every one got upset I would wager this was done some time ago.

Guess they don't want their game selling at Walmart for $19.99 before the holidays. So they add that tease with some new content to their disappointing unfinished game

I think that anybody that says that these are not good news are out of their mind.
Many people were moaning about "single player carreer" and now they are going to get it.
Free cars are always nice in any racing games, especially when some of them were asked from fans of the title.
I think that PD is doing what needed to do in order to keep the game going forward and alive.
Its also clear that the "new vision" of "time to race against real people" is not what a large base of GT fans wanted so they decided to do both.
Its actually a test for the "e-sports" part of the game:will be the "aliens" playing in Cups and everybody else "offline" or will this give motivation to "casuals" that dont "like" the "online only title" to actually give it -another- go?Only time will tell.
But at least people should recognize that these are really good news.

"Livery Editor, Scapes and Campaign modes becoming available to play offline "
And “GT League”.
Enough said.
That's the right move PD.

Like I said, they didn't finish the game before launch.

I personally recon it's too late and it should have come with the game on launch, missions should have been added after. The general interest in GT Sport has probably dipped to the point that none on the gaming press will care, because let's be honest, they want GT Sport to fail.

Maybe a few people editing some old posts as we speak......

Why should they do that?
In fact you can say that its PD actually taking back part of their plan of the "future being all about online mp/e-sports" since they now decided to add a single player carreer.
They have the data:they know how many people bought the game and how many of them log in every week. Are you sure that they did not do that in order to keep the game alive?Imo this was part of a "back up" plan:if "online does not go are we expect then we add more single player carreer into the game".There is no way that they created that stuff in one/two months.Same goes with the cars. This "carreer mode" was ready (or worked) before release. They decide to add it now.Why you think that is?
I am not moaning in any way.I am just pointing out the obvious: online did not work as they wanted, some people were moaning a lot so they decided to give those people what they were asking and have a title that work both ways:for single and mp players. Its a good thing for both imo.
