Still waiting for the chance to get my PS4, didn't have money when it first came out and didn't pre-order. Sont haven't confirmed there next shipment to Ireland yet either and some shops are stating it's out of stock until the start of March.

We used Stock informer which is unfortunately not availble on your side of the water, but we linked through that to Argos - there is a version of their own for Eire, so if you'd like and you are near enough to make looking worthwhile: http://www.checkargos.com/ you'll need to know the product code though, but should be able to get that from their catalogue.

Is anyone else having issues with the share button? I was playing BF4 yesterday and I hit a heli with a SRAW and pressed the share button I then pressed back and continued to play. After I finished I went to review the footage and the screen cap looked right but the footage was from Paracel Storm and I was playing Lancang Dam. The last round of Paracel Storm was a good hour before I pressed share.

I do have PS+ and I did check the store for all grid offeres. I see Uncharted, Borderlands 2, etc, but no GRID 2 for free.
There is a testversion of GRID 2 for PS+ members, but that's limited to 1h like I said.

Apparently our stores do not offer the same, although we're both from europe. I can't get the free GRID 2 game, only the testversion.

It should be noted that some offerings are for limited time, like GTA LCS for the PSV, which was free for PSN+ members until about a month ago.

I'm personally waiting on a newer model before getting one for my room. Hopefully a Slimmer model comes out by the end of this year or at least one that runs even cooler. Maybe when next GT game comes out, will be quite good if they manage to make it in time this year or early next year and bundled with a new revision PS4 to use. I think big improvement will be when downloading stuff while in standby, power reduction should hopefully be reduced to not much more than connected standby.

Last time I played Fifa 14 on PS4, it had a few bugs, like no ball visible. Hopefully they resolved it with the updates the next time I play it. Also I think it has less game modes than PS3 version. Played also Assassin's Creed 4 on PS3 and PS4, both looked very similar playing same level one after each other. PS4 only noticeable thing looked better is the water.

HDMI port seems to have quality issues, there is something that stops it going back in properly, way round it is to try and push thing down so it works again, also put pressure in opposite direction when putting HDMI in so it has more chance of fitting in. Console comes with at least 1 year warranty though so you might get a new revision that fixes this.

I don't think price will drop much so it is really up to if you think Fifa 14 PS4 version is worth it enough to get it now or wait for an revision which by then everything related to PS4 will have matured to give a noticeable improvement.

Yes and no. If you sign up for ps plus now, you won't be able to download any content that was temporarily available before you subscribed. However, you will be able to download any expired igc game at a later date as long as you "purchased" it when it was available. Providing your membership hasn't expired.
Take grid 2 for example. I haven't downloaded it, but I "purchased" it when it was available, so I can download it any time. It really is a good deal.

I agree, I have a few PS Vita games in my download queue now, for when we get one in a few months time. Handy system alright.

Resogun is so hard playing solo on Veteran. I'm trying to unlock Master difficulty and I can't beat Mefitis. I've been using mainly Nemesis, the one with homing rockets, and some Phobos but I just struggle to take enough lives into the boss battle to survive the entire thing. Oh well, having too much cuss filled fun to stop.

@F1 fan Tearaway is seriously worth the purchase. Otherwise, yeah great Vita games available from Plus (Gravity Rush is my favorite of the bunch).

Edit: finally beat Veteran Mefitis using Nemesis. I figured out some good techniques for the boss and came close to beating it 2 or 3 times. Finally, I went into the battle with 3 lives to spare and didn't lose any en route to beating it. Hopefully there will be some DLC coming out because I really enjoy playing the game.

Quick question regarding the PS4 and PS+.
Does it automatically back-up like the PS3 does. For example when I turn on my PS3 it tells me what it backed up automatically overnight.
I've never got any sort of notification from the PS4 that it has done so. Am I missing an option that needs to be checked or does it just do it anyway without telling you or doesn't it do it at all?

It does it automatically too. Just check your notifications.

Picked up my console on monday. Shocked to findk one on the shelf.
picked up bf4 upgade. Resogun, warframe, contrast and dont starve.
Resogun is alkt of fun. Classic old school 2 stick shooter. Only played a small amount of warframe, seems pretty coll.and very indepth. Played through Contrast and enjoyed it alot. I love the puzzle/platform type games. It was a little to easy but worth the couple hours of play. Havent played dont starve yet, noticed it last night and downladed before going ti bed.

I couldn't beat it using the one that shoots the homing rockets. I switched to the one farthest right and it was much easier. It's weapons are much more powerful. You destroy everything in one shot.

That's the other ship I use a lot, but Nemesis suits me best. It wasn't that hard once I figured out the strategy for the boss and stopped getting stupid in the 3rd phase. A lot of times I would have 2 or 3 lives and then die a couple times in quick succession before the boss. I've also learned how to manage my boost a lot better and that it's pointless to save overdrive for the later bosses on veteran. Now I will try to go for platinum.

After 1 Month of use, my "DS4" Left Analog Stick is worn through... Now im waiting it to be replaced

This is not my Controller, but it looks almost like this:

Someone got the same issue?

My ones look fine. I've got a Kontrol Freek on the right stick as well, so that'll probably pretect it quite a bit.

Yee, well i searched for information on the internet and i see that i am not the only one with this problem...

Actually this should not happend after only 1 month of use... i mean i got a 4 years old PS3 and i never got problems with the DS3 Controller....

Well, atleast its being replaced..

Tbh I'm finding it tough going, I'll happily admit I'm not great at it but on the ps3 I seemed to hold my own pretty well but on the larger 64 player ps4 version I'm very much struggling.

Everyone i bet your Controller is not going to last 1 Year. The Rubber on the Analog Sticks arent the same as the Ps3 ones. They worn through very quick! So be careful. I was told that new Controllers have different materials/rubber so that doesnt happend again...

I'll take that bet. I've had mine for almost two months now and it still looks and feels as new.

Had mine since launch and no issues with the thumbsticks, I'm mainly a BF4 player, which I've adapted to far better than I did BF3 (which was a bit of a miss for me).

One of my controllers is starting to show thin peeling on the left stick. I'm pretty gentle with my controllers and haven't actually played PS4 all that much since GT6 came out. The last week I've been playing non-stop Resogun though and today was the first I've noticed it.

Try out done kontrol freaks. They'll protect the stick and make it a much much better controller. I can't play a shooter or racing game without them anymore. They're worth their worth the few dollars they cost.
