Want.
I love a white controller, and that is beautiful. But it is not £60 beautiful, which is what the DS4 costs here.
I have no idea of what justifies that price tag.
*EDIT* That said, 3 days after this post I have just spent that amount on a custom DS4 in white with white buttons, a white D-Pad and white triggers from Morbidstix.com.
The only downside is that the analogue sticks are still black, if I wanted white ones I would have to swap them over to DS3 sticks, which I don't prefer over the DS4 ones.
It's shipping from the US, so it should arrive within 21 days according to the website. I'll post some pictures when it arrives 👍.

I'm on Day 67 in Don't Starve and midway through my second Winter.
A question for anyone who has played: have you killed MacTusk and did he drop a Walrus Tusk? I've killed 7 and not one has dropped a tusk but the wiki says there is a 50% chance. If you obtained one how did you get it? I really want to make a walking stick but I'm having no luck.

Mine charge while PS4 is on standby, and I have never played more than 7 hours in a day, so no real problem. Don't really understand battery life issues, I mean, if you play more than 7 hours a day, you probably game enough to have multiple controllers, which one can charge while the other is in use...but I can't really comprehend sitting playing for more than 7 hours in a day, maybe that's just me.

Downloaded Resogun a couple of days ago to check it out, and it's surprisingly addictive. I skipped Rookie difficulty and went for Experienced and found it quite challenging.
Took a few tries to get past the first level but it's been surprisingly fun to play.

@AudiMan2011 Resogun is a great game and will quickly become addicting.
I use the official charging stand and it works great. That and 2 controllers are must haves with the DS4 battery life.
I'm on to Day 103 in Don't Starve. I'm a losing interest in this world a little though. Apparently I've revealed the entire map besides caves and have found all 5 things. I may try Adventure Mode or build the door, I don't really understand how that all works however.

Showing off my accomplishrine. It does nothing except get you 2 trophies.
My trees and northern most section of the camp.
Southernmost part of camp with advanced farms, berry bushes, meat drying racks, twigs, and grass. I had much more of the bushes, grass, and twigs but accidentally burned them down during the summer. Also some guests living with my berry bushes.
The exit guarded by tooth traps. I plan to make it much more extensive than that but ran out of stone and winter came.
Deerclops attacking at a bad time. It's almost night and I wasn't really prepared.
I used my walking cane and escaped try and lead him away. Unfortunately, I took him straight into 2 groups of beefalos and he murdered them. I can finally make a beefalo winter hat though! The only damage the Deerclops caused to my camp was destroying 2 advanced farms. Not too bad really.
The extent of my map. The southeast section is where my base is and there is more explored than it shows. A couple days ago the map glitched and now I have to travel there each time to reveal it again. Sucks because that's where most of my rabbit traps are.

Just got my PS4 ~4 hours ago and I'm in loooooooove!!!! this thing is amazing!
quick question though, one thing I don't understand is the Live From Playstation app..
so why do some comments come through the right side of the screen while others come from directly underneath the video???
also, I can't make any comments on Live From Playstation. I'm downloading the digital version of BF4 right now and maybe it's just lagging, but even if I wait ~5 minutes or so my comment still doesn't pop up after I click Send? anyone have any ideas???
but I'll try again tomorrow after it's finished downloading everything and my bandwidth is open again and we'll see

The person steaming can decide if they want comments displayed on their screen or not. If you see comments on the bar under the stream it means that's what the streamer sees. As you find bigger streamers you will see they don't do this and read comments off a computer or something else. There is a lag between typing your comment and it showing up but I've only experienced 30 seconds or so. The comments under the stream may be delayed even longer. Make sure you press R2 to end comment and then click on the send button though.
It may be too late but download Don't Starve off PS Plus if you can.

For anyone who is wondering, I can confirm that the Astro A50 headset works perfectly with the PlayStation 4 with both game audio and voice chat. I was under the impression that Sony would have to release a patch in order for it to work but all you have to do is update the firmware on the headset and mixamp which is located on the Astro website. It takes about 2 minutes and then the headset works perfect. It will work for game audio without the firmware but in order to have voice chat you have to have the firmware update.

Just got news that the estimated delivery of my PS4, which I ordered some days after xmas, changed from "sometime between February and April 2014" to "December 2014". So assuming that they can build 1 Million PS4s a month (IIRC I read that figure somewhere), that means that more than 12 Million people pre-ordered one?! You gots to be kidding me..?

So aren't the comments on the right side of the screen supposed to match the comments that are underneath the persons video??? because I didn't see anyones comments appear there lol. but I'll give it another try, I think my internet was acting up last night so I'll give it a try again after class today and see what it does
and Don't Starve doesn't look all that good imo.. atleast not to me :/
I'm waiting for Outlast though which is supposed to be next months free game!!!

In my country people laugh at me and many others like me who pre order PS4 and got it 29.11.2013, they use this argument if they wait some time, price will get lower and the console it self would be improved and without any flaws.
Today, well not exactly today but during second shipment to stores, PS4 was put on stores shelves with the same low numbers with only exception. Price is drastically higher.
I payed 649 $ for PS4 + KillZone + AC4 Black Flag + Camera. Pretty awesome deal taking to consideration that today PS4 cost 730$ without any games and camera. Just console !!!

I have been using a USB mono headset since launch. It's an old one I had for socom 2 on the ps2 and it worked pretty good. My dog ate it so I ordered a jabra bh410 thinking any USB headset would work. It's only being recognized as a mic and the mic is the only part that works on the ps4. It works great on the ps3 and actually sounds great.
Anyone have any luck or can recommend a decent mono usb headset that will work with the ps4?

Console optimization is real. Square Enix took the time to upgrade Tomb Raider for next gen consoles. The result is the game's performance on the PS4 outperforms the similar 1.8 Tflop 7850 PC GPU. The PS4 is nearly dead on in performance with the 2.5 Tflop 7870, as it had a low of 32fps while averaging 53fps. The PS4 version isnt dumbed down either, its pretty much the same as the PC version maxed out.

Just an example of the improvements a dev can make to a game when they can focus on a single console. The improvement according to this chart over a similar PC is 5-10fps, but there is an improvement. Dont worry PC guys, your $2000 rigs still play the game better. Just saying optimization will have the PS4 performing better then what you would expect from its stats when compared to a similar PC.

System Software Version 1.60 is now out 👍 Not quite sure what it does though.

I was just thinking with the PS4's x86 architecture it'll be easier for hackers too make emulation software etc,not that I'm encouraging it.
