1.6 didn't fix my Bluetooth. It says not supported :(. I'm using the official socom confrontation headset.

It also didn't fix my USB headset. It still just shows up as a mic. If a
My one knows a USB monoone that works I would love to know what it is

Your headset although belongs to Sony it's not supported, only Sony Pulse headsets work like a charm right now. Awesome !!!

I know and that sucks for people that have actual surround sound. There's still no choice for a wireless mono headset and as far as wired goes Sony support claims usb still doesn't work at all which I know it does for some headsets but I don't know which ones. The one I had is no longer made and the new one I bought is recognized as a mic.

I think my friends have some decent wired mono headsets that plug into the controller. I'm going to try and find one of those tonight at GameStop or Walmart.
 
In my opinion if you really, but i mean really into on line gaming, then just not waste money on some lower quality. Just invest in better once. Pulse is great headset and to e honest it's not that expensive and it's higher value will return/get back to you in form of great fun.

Once new pulse headset compatible with PS4 and PSvita will appear in stores the old one should get some discounts. I have first model and i'm totally not regretting spending 130$ on it.

But still it's sucks that even socom doest not work because i have it too. I couldn't find customer to buy it from me so i decided to keep it as a back up for my pulse.

If I bought a pulse I would be doing a huge downgrade in sound. I have a pretty decent surround sound that headphones can't replace. That's why I'm after a mono headset. Plus alit of people have children and need to be able to hear their kids and a virtual surround sound headset doesn't work for them either.
 
I just downloaded Outlast, but when I go to start it, it says it can only be used by the person who holds the license for it. Uhhhh... What?

Does anyone know what's wrong?

Reason asking is I just bought one. I was waiting for the PS4 to release here with the Vita in one box but I stumbled across a store who is only asking 129,- Euros for the Wifi+3g version. I thought why not and it's being delivered tomorrow! :D Ordered an 8GB Sandisk stick with it and also the PS Vita 'Hori Grip'. Total of 168 Euros, not too bad me thinks!

Only thing to do now is get me some games for it. I think I'll download Crash Bandicoot 1 to 3 for it (if I'm not mistaken they are all playable on the Vita right?). Not sure what else to play on it, maybe RidgeRacers if that is possible. I miss that game since I gave my PSP away. Don't ask :lol:

An old LEGO game just popped up in my mind, not sure if I played it on the PSP or if was the GB Advance.. But those were quite fun and simple, those games are better playable on small portable consoles, or more to my likings on such a machine.

Now I'm scrolling through the available Vita games and Tearaway looks pretty nice. Might give that a try. But that is actually the only one I like :embarrassed: PS classic games, here I come!! :lol:

I always use just chat only on my headset. It recognizes it as a mic only. It doesn't know it's a headset. I found a mono one today though that plugs into the controller. I think it was a cheap turtle beach one. It works but it's kind of weird fitting and not near as loud as I was hoping but it's got a mute switch and volume so I'm good to go.

Hopefully they will get some better USB support or Bluetooth and I can get something with a decent noise cancelation mic and be done with the search.

Yes I am! Only since a month though, my mate showed me all the free games you could download and after that quickly jumped on board. A quick Google search and these are the free games for this month:
Smart As... (May give it a go)
Worms: Battle Islands (I want!)
Uncharted: Golden Abyss (Not sure, my interest for the whole Uncharted series is low)
WipeOut 2048 (Meh)
Gravity Rush (Looks really weird)
Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed (Got to give this a go)

I'm golden with Worms, can't wait to play this game against others! :D

Yup, you have to go to Settings/PSN/Restore Licenses.

It's freaky.
 
I tried to update my damn console last night. It downloaded the update and it kept saying afterwards 'waiting to install' tried opening it but nothing, then clicked on system update in the settings and it redownloaded it all over again! Not happy!
 
Yeah mine also waited a fair while before finally updating after the download.

Also after the update BF4 crashed for me for the first time ever immediately after joining a round. Reload and the second attempt to join a round resulted in loss of connection to the server, also a first.

I then shut the Ps4 off and started BF4 again and all was good, still not good signs to be honest.

It shouldn't. Here's what it says:

If you become unable to use content you downloaded from the PS store, there might be a problem with the licenses for the content. Try restoring the licenses.

I had to do this for Outlast to work as well. I played Bioshock Infinite on my PS3 afterwards with no issues. Oh, when I said 'It's freaky', I meant Outlast, not the license system.:)

It's not going to be released for another short while. It releases late February in New Zealand. I'm tempted to buy a red one and then paint my original DS4 white.

It seems like your controller is an official Sony product, but it also seems to be missing some detail on the buttons?

Yep, it's an official DS4. By details on the buttons, I assume you mean the shapes (triangle, square etc.). The buttons have just been sprayed over that's all 👍
