Seems very exciting technology for racing games like GT. Driving on Mars, make it happen Kaz.
I bet we're looking at the reason for Driveclub's delay. Would be surprised if they didn't ship it without VR support.
The difference with 3D though is that people needed to buy a 3D TV which was a bit expensive. I recall at least one GTP member who enthused about it though. The VR headset will be a lot cheaper. I understand what you are saying about potential delays however - I suppose the truth about that info will never filter down to to the user level though.I'm probably not the first to say this, but I think the VR is a terrible idea. Likely the reason why DC is delayed, it'll probably more expensive that it's worth (to me), just like having a 3D, ooh cool, but how many of us used 3D in GT5? Which is one reason why GT5 was delayed. It's just another cheap selling point to make people buy the game resulting in a lot of PD's efforts going into this, rather than fixing what is needed in GT6/7.

The next patch will include a lot of enhancements to the share function as well as disable the HDCP so you can record gameplay via HDMI without the use of a splitter.

You obviously haven't tried or been following the oculus rift. The new version of it is $350 and they are going to stay in that price range. These VR headsets are way better than I ever thought they could be. It's an entirely different experience than just a 3d tv and works much better than track IR. It's also just one screen not 2 tiny screens.VR headset might be way more expensive than a 3D TV depending on how it's produced and the features it might have, if it has a similar IR head tracking like a proper IR tracking device has (or a gyroscope or whatever) then it might be far more expensive.
2 mini FHD screens running at 1080p each, while also having to deal with power supply, lightweight structure, fancy materials, is not going to be cheap.
Here I'm hoping to be around 300 USD, but the more I read about it (and oculus rift for that matter), the more I feel drawn from it, seems like the same 3D TV BS of a few years back (only proper application of it ever was last years Gravity, and that was a movie).
What PS needs is a stronger 3rd party support, to see more AAA games, indies are cool but the console lacks games like Titanfall and FM5.
No, no one wants to wear glasses.Still no news of 3d?
I do, for 5 minutes until I get dizzy. No, no one wants to wear glasses.

Here you areLogitech has NOT been confirmed.
If true, that's good to hear as I bought a DFGT a few months back.
Managed to pick up a PS4 today along with Infamous Second Son, the graphics are mind blowing!!
And if you think back to the PS3 launch with games like Heavenly Sword, we all thought the graphics were awesome then, but compare that to a recent release on the PS3, say The Last of Us and it's blown out of the water.
So in 4 years time we may look back on Second Son and think it looks crap. Makes you wonder how much more the PS4 has to give.
It's the only size HDD at the moment and it doesn't seem likely they will go smaller. I believe around 408 GB of that is available after OS and what ever else and every game including discs install on the HDD take up anywhere from about 20-40GB(disc install). That space goes quicker than you realize. I'm also not sure that they could reduce the system price all that much by reducing the HDD size.So im looking to maybe get a PS4 sometime this year, im saving up to get one and ive had a look around online at places like Game and Argos and all they seem to sell is the 500 gb ones...is that all Sony have at the moment? because that's a bit to much memory for me I don't need all that, and if that is all they do will they release smaller memory ones like 250 gig versions in the future?
A smaller HDD wouldn't really make much difference to the price. Maybe they will bring out smaller versions, but who knows when that would be. You might also be surprised at how quickly 500Gb can get used up, certainly if you download a number of the PS+ games or play any of the F2P ones already out there and coming soon. There is also a certain amount you'll need if you intend on saving any amount of gameplay - though I'm not sure at present if that'll be exclusively via an external device. So im looking to maybe get a PS4 sometime this year, im saving up to get one and ive had a look around online at places like Game and Argos and all they seem to sell is the 500 gb ones...is that all Sony have at the moment? because that's a bit to much memory for me I don't need all that, and if that is all they do will they release smaller memory ones like 250 gig versions in the future?
