True, however, the cult of personality around Trump is hiding skeletons in the closet.

Supposedly, all the skeletons in Trump's closet have been thoroughly dragged out by the New York tabloids, Time magazine exposes, et al. Are there more to be found?

If there are indeed these huge campaign derailing skeletons everyone has been referring to for months now, the other candidates might want to try digging them out before they lose the primary anyway.

Virginia is too close to call at this moment. Could Rubio get his first win here?

With Alaska's primary closing less than 30 minutes away, the only primary that isn't called is the Vermont GOP primary.

Trump cleaned house. So did Hillary.

Well Bernie isn't looking too good, and it seems America has the attention span for commercials (good think I stick to netflix and hulu) and not the real issues that plague these people in the first place. If they did then maybe voting for an actual shake up would be the right thing to do, but that's asking for too much.

4 states won (or so I hear as I'm paying attention to other things) isn't "not looking too good".

Looks like Trump is unstoppable. The GOP establishment has been completely outflanked. This must be how Von Papen & the big wigs of the Weimar Republic felt in 1933.

So is Christie the presumptive VP? Wouldn't normally make sense to have both ends of the ticket from exactly the same geographic area, but I can't see that it matters when it comes to Trump, as his appeal is ... err. .. universal. Christie brings "executive experience". The two would make a charming team: Christie's Heinrich Himmler to Trump's Fuhrer.

It does create a new & interesting dynamic: do traditional & moderate Republicans vote for Trump in the General ... or Hillary? What will a Hillary/Trump show-down look like?

Moderate Republicans will vote Trump, if you're to believe his appeal is based on how much more moderate he is compared to the others he runs against on both sides. To me he seems extreme in many areas and moderate in some, and just aloof in others. So it's pissing in the wind if those that have no idea still feel their vote amounts to anything come crunch time.

or as @BobK 's friends put it..."picking the most polished turd"

Trump/Christie would be the worst GOP ticket I could have imagined. In fact, I think Christie would try to have Trump assassinated somehow as VP. Only thing worse would be Christie on the supreme court. That's a laugh-- can't even believe that's been suggested.

Sure if you're oblivious to delegate count and the already guaranteed super delegates going her way "that wont vote" until DNC Convention. Don't let me stop you from wearing blinders.
Like the rest of the country's blinders for Trump? This election is a joke.

Might want to be more descriptive of who the "rest of the country" is, cause I hardly know anyone from here that is voting his way or anyway for that matter. I agree the election is a joke, but I think it could easily be said we see it as a joke for different reasons.

I'll vote third party before I vote for Trump.

It was obviously a general term.

I'm gonna have to vote for Frank Zappa for the second time

No one answered my question though. To me a true shake would have been Rand. Oh well.

To be fair those states she won are of the same demographic as South Carolina, with majority black voters who do not support Sanders favourable at all however the only state she won with Majority white voters was Massachusetts and that was basically a tie, considering Black voters don't make up the majority of voters and the fact the majority of those states that have them in big numbers have already voted I would still give him a chance in this race.

Super delegates whilst committed to Hillary now can't actually commit anything till the convention, and the end of the day it will come down to that.

The longer the race goes though the more chance Hillary gets hard by scandals that may force the Super delegates to change decision, simply from a credibility view.

I would still say at this point Hillary is still the clear favourite but in actual pledged delegates I would say it's still very open just looking at the demographics of who has voted and who will be voting in the future.

What about Trump/Palin.... or Trump/Trump?

Trump currently has 49.7% of the GOP delegates... I think this will come down as Cruz and Rubio start to pick up more votes as other candidates drop out, but right now it is not looking good for anyone other than Trump - and Hillary, of course.
