What you're suggesting is that PDI contract Tilke to "fix" the Original GT tracks.I love the fact that they want to bring old tracks to FIA standards.
I know most people like Trial Mountain etc. but I'd love to see a more realistic version of it, with proper safety standards. Same goes for Cape Ring, which is an amazing track, but that stupid jump needs to go for example.
Please no.What you're suggesting is that PDI contract Tilke to "fix" the Original GT tracks.
Let's say we get the Monaco. If PD makes the track to feature full time & weather cycle, will they breach any rules that issued by FIA?I'm just hoping that this means we can ditch Cote d'Azur and get Monaco
Lol Imagine a Tilke'd High Speed Ring. Please no.
There's be chicanes everywhere!Lol Imagine a Tilke'd High Speed Ring.
To mark the start of this collaboration, Gran Turismo®6 will become the first-ever video game to feature FIA-certified content.
I think all it means is that some of the in game tracks have been certified by the FIA as being up to their standards. It would be like you and me opening up a race track and asking the WEC to come race on it...then the FIA would need to inspect it and stamp it with their approval (ie certifying it) at which point the WEC would then be able to come race on our track.Anyone want to shed some light on this quote
So does this mean that no other game has actually had FIA CERTIFIED content? Does this mean that having the FIA sticker was pretty much nothing, those words in that quote are pretty clear cut. I need information I have no idea how many games have FIA logo affixed to them but being Certified sounds like a pretty big deal.
Or we would do half the race behind the safety car...Does this mean that we won't be able to race with 100% water on track??? Charlie Whiting would come and stop the race!!
Just went to FIA page ad looked what series FIA is hosting, F1, WEC, WRC, World RX !, WTCC, just a small part part of this please...
Fuji is the real life version of HSR. And it is terrible in its current GT6 form. There's be chicanes everywhere!
Yes, in order for F1 to race they have to be approved by the FIAAre all F1 tracks approved by FIA?
But Fuji hasn't changed much from it's '90's layout save for the weird F1 kink thing before the sweeper heading back to the main straight. Fuji itself is a boring fast track, I like the grassy one as it had literally no run off areas, bad for real life racing but fun for in game racingFuji is the real life version of HSR. Hopefully this content isn't GT exclusive, because everyone should be able to race with GT3 cars for example.Simply stunning, Kaz Now with FIA as a partner, PD can open up a world of possibilities, licensing for race cars, track and championships
Is this even an exclusive partnership?Partnership doesn't automatically mean licenses and content, remember.
PD never does that exclusivity crap, they just have that enigmatic creator who gets guys to include their cars in his game is all. Everyone has a fair shot to include whatever racing bodies they can afford, this isn't EA with their Porsche for me, none for you unless you pony up loads of money for licenses.Hopefully this content isn't GT exclusive, because everyone should be able to race with GT3 cars for example.
Fuji was an awesome roval, every bit as good as Monza. Now it is just a bad racing circuit with poor flow and aesthetics. Especially the last sector. But Fuji hasn't changed much from it's '90's layout save for the weird F1 kink thing before the sweeper heading back to the main straight. They will likely be the four F1 tracks - Silverstone, Nurburgring GP/F, Monza and Suzuka (since, presumably this all happened before the inclusion of Red Bull Ring last week).
Yes, in order for F1 to race they have to be approved by the FIA
If you mean in the game the answer is no, only 4
You can get a good look at a t-bone by sticking your head up a bull's ass, but wouldn't you rather take the butcher's word for it?I think all it means is that some of the in game tracks have been certified by the FIA as being up to their standards. 👍 Great analogy! You can get a good look at a t-bone by sticking your head up a bull's ass, but wouldn't you rather take the butcher's word for it?
