Ah but will they be included as AI drivers in all the races?

It would be good simply to add them in, as long as they are fully transferred.

For example, i don't recall seeing a Lotus Evora in GT5P driven by the AI cars in any of the races? What gives? If Porsche is just a DLC update, they had better put them in the game properly.

Yeah, and I didn't saw any Californias driven by the AI.......maybe this is a glitch??

Im pretty sure i drove against the Evora and the California, but in Arcade Mode.
The events are all scripted except for the colors.

Thats what i mean. If they release Porsche as DLC and the AI only use them in arcade mode that would be rubbish. You should see 911s everywhere in the tuning car cups and supercar races in Gran turismo/Simulation mode.

For example, with the additions to prologue they didn't change the events, i wanted an F2007 event race etc.

I'm not even sure the California is driven by the AI in the Ferrari one make race (although i'm sure you will be able to drive it yourself)

We saw Forza 2 release new track packs as DLC, and they wern't added to any events in the career mode, they were only really good for online races.

Its probably more complicated than it sounds to implement cars and tracks into the career mode. If that is the reason, then they should try harder.

So baically Porsche are either in it or their not. Because KY has said in interviews "theres no plans for download content as yet"

Just a small update on contacting EA: no actual success so far

My e-mails mostly were forwarded to customer service, which told me to contact EA business managers. I did find out who is "responsible" for the Need for Speed titles, but I haven't received an actual answer from the guy as of yet.

PORSCHE NOT COMING IN GT5 KAZ SAY THAT IN INTERVIEW!!!!! Stop talking about that people...

Calm down. No need for negativity. Plenty of time and plenty of interviews etc.. to go through yet. What we know about GT5 so far could fit onto the head of a pin.. So yeah.. stay tuned because I'm remaining positive that Porsche will hopefully make it to GT5.

By the way, not to be rude or anything mate but you're clearly not a Porsche fan are you? Because most of us here are.

Kaz should really negotiate again as 10 year moratorium is passing by. Car modellers will have another 100 models done certainly until march.

Wenn GT Porsche hat, wünsche ich einen Cayennepfeffer innen, zu sammeln gehen!!

(If GT has Porsche, I want a Cayenne to go rallying in!!)

Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Who knows what amar is hiding from us. :nervous: :guilty: :grumpy:

Maybe it's a high res. screenshot of a 911 GT2 lapping the ring under 6:50....

And I would love to take this for a spin.

It would be interesting tuning the Cayenne, especially the Turbo.

lol for sure. tune it for high speed runs. Possibly do what you could do in GT3 with the RUF RGT and get over 1,000 hp out of it.

Edit: HAHAHA!! I;ve only just noticed this

Cayenne?? I'm drooling to put a tubochargers on the immaculate Carrera GT V10... pushing the power to...let's say 1000hp, with a minimum increase in overall weight.....

Yeah it's been like that for the last 79 pages. More of a Porsche wishlist than a discussion of whether they'll be present in GT5 or not. But to be fair, nobody really knows if they're gonna be in anyway.

Well... maybe amar does. :P
