Ya hopefully GS next year is a little fuller than this year

I was actually thinking more of PWC GTS when I was thinking of all the manufacturers. I'm about half way through watching this season, and while the grid is a little small (it actually seems to grow from round to round), it's really diverse and the racing has been fantastic.

Shame we won't be seeing GT4 in CTSCC till what, 2018 at the earliest? I know PWC is running them. The CTSCC was an embarrassment half of the season (fielding 4-5 cars).

Not really a fan of those things.

This is good for Production car racing. When Chaz Mostert won the 6hr this year, he loved piloting the 335i. I'd love to see more current top tier drivers in production car races.

Finally...as much as I like GT3, GT4 is far more my preference (love seeing slightly lower skilled drivers man-handling cars with less tire and aero...feels far more real/visceral to me). I hope this continues.

The entry list for the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour has risen to 64 as it approaches the grid density of 72 cars allowed at the mountain track.

In response to requests from potential participants, organisers have updated the vehicle eligibility list to include the Ford Mustang GT which is now permitted in the Invitational class.

“There has been demand for the Ford Mustang to be included on the eligibility list and we know of at least one team advanced in their plans to enter one in the race,” said Event Director James O’Brien.

“Regardless, it is likely the car is going to be a popular addition to Production Car racing in the near future and we expect to see several of them on the grid.

“We are now at a point where teams who are planning to race but have not entered need to seriously consider lodging their official entry as soon as possible because we are close to reaching capacity.”

The updated entry list includes 22 cars in Class A1/A2 and a further 14 in class B1/B2 – the categories expected to provide the outright winner.

The latest outright contender is likely to be the Ford Focus RS to be entered by the defending six-hour champions from this year.

Cars from Audi, BMW, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz and HSV are also likely to be a factor in the outright fight.

Edit:
Just noticed the Camry, Alfa and MG

Question: Do those CTCS GT4 cars qualify for the 24H Daytona?

GT4 cars will not be in the 24h. The GT Daytona category ('slowest' category on track) is for GT3s. But the Conti race at Daytona will be a sweet 4 hours. :D

So out of nowhere, we get 3 McLarens for the Conti. series. ...Awesome! 👍

Does anyone know if Multimatic is running the GT350R.C or the Mustang GT4? Also who's gonna replace Billy Johnson after he was promoted to Plat?
How does Hindman and Maxwell sound for an unbeatable lineup :D

Also has anyone seen the new Merc GT4? Anyone think we could see one of those showing up on the grid?

The AMG GT4 is in development stage. Hopefully someone pushed he button to gevthose suckers tested soon. Probably end of 2017 year launch, for 2018. No details yet.

The 370 has been racing in GT4 in Europe for a while.
So the 370Z that were in CTSCC and GTS in 2015 were GT4 cars?

Or have they been using GT4s in Europe and the GTS style cars in America?

Reason I'm asking is in familiar with seeing the 370Z in GT4 type competition, I'm just confused of it's actually a Nissan built GT4 car, or something slightly different.
