Yeah, I think the writing was on the wall since early Mustang(FR500) and Camaro were homologated. Had more teams run them in the initial GT4 European Northern Cup Series, it would be a different story. Only one team ran the Camaro GT4 and then GT4.R for its entirety and one team ran the GT4 Mustang(S550) for one race.
GT4.R was a crowd favourite, but it’s like the same with the Z. The parent brands just don’t want to spend the money to support teams. However, too funny that lone unsupported Audi R8 GT4, in the GT4 European Series, still beats the field. Should be interesting to see how the lone R8 performs here.
