Hmm. The controller audio should be turned off. But now that you mention it. I haven’t checked if somehow it’s gotten turned back on
Hopefully that works for you. If you’re on a wheel muscle sure the controller is off.

I know this isn't really a bug but I have a weird controller configuration... I use L1 on PS4 to change down a gear as per normal but instead of R1 to shift up a gear I use the X (Cross) button. The problem comes when I pause then when I want to resume a race I press X (Cross) to do so but that also changes up a gear when I do un-pause. I know it's a strange one and the GT Sport Beta had the same issue but some other racing games don't, I'd like it so that pressing a button in the menu doesn't affect anything to do in the race. Love the game otherwise! :)
I got in the habit of un-pausing the game by just pressing the Options button again. :)

XBOX ONE
THRUSTMASTER TX

the Game has a bug that activates insane vibration (not FFB) even though its completely disabled.

And to top it all off - this only happens in RACES so far not training.

The issue wasnt there on friday but now is and i didnt change anything.

Rating it 1 Star on Xbox till this is fixed.

Friend of mine has a fanatec and it doesnt even show up for him.

I have a Thrustmaster TX with a Ferrari GTE458 wheel through an X Box 1, which is not recognised by my new PC2, and cannot calibrate wheel no matter what I do, I have no problems with my PC1 program, I find it strange that no one other than me has this problem

when it comes to car setup it does not make you choose intermediate rain tires .. but just wet ... one mistake because if it rains a little go out with the wet tires ... while if it comes to the resting boxes or in the strategy what you do before makes you choose the intermediate ...

Iam about to purchase this, doesn’t sound promising. Have you checked on project cars forums? You cant be the only one to have this issue. If not then raise a support request with them and they will check it, if they get same issue then it should get written into the next patch. I bet you’re fuming !!!

I was very happy with the Game until now.... ihr game chrasht in a replay video and after a restart there was no longer a career. This bug kills my whole Career !!!!!!! For me it was okay to see many different bugs but a bug who kills a safegame with 35hr+ overall playtime is **** -.- . Any idea to get it back? I am on xbox One.... a restart does not solve it

It's probably more a limitation of the penalty system than a bug but the video shows my car cutting the infield to avoid a crash and keeping the positions as they were a long way back.

Try creating dummy account and swapping to it before shutting the xbox off. It should be patched soon!

:ouch: Ouch, that one's gotta sting. Hope you get your career progress back. I've yet to start my career on PS4 for multiple reasons, but this one takes the cake.

Don't know if this is a known issue, but Daytona Road Course has no standing start option when setting up an online race (PS4). Rolling start causes multiple penalties while AI is controlling everyone's car. Basically Daytona Road is unusable online for this reason.

If you play this game sitting real close to the monitor, this is what the graphics look like:

Some hanging around the car shadows:

It seems like the shadows are showing up around the car all the time but not on top of the car.
Have you at some point had a magnet real close to your TV screen?. I am 99% sure this is not a game bug, but an issue on your TV calibration. I highly recommend you to contact your retailer and have it send in to be fixed, you cannot do it yourself. Your TV is definitely calibrated wrong.

Most of those are known issues we are working on.

For the rollig starts i would just set it to manual, dont let AI control yor car.

I recommend manual control for pitstops too but you can leave this on auto.

@The_American already stated it is best to use manual rolling starts, as I said in the same race you are talking about. It is a known issue and I hope it gets patched soon.

Sure, but will a standing start option at Daytona Road be coming? Or is the lack of a design choice? I remember standing starts at Daytona presented a unique challenge with the steep banking.

I don't know if anyone else has been effected by this or not. I am on PS4. After I won the Formula Rookie Championship I watched a replay of the race. I then backed out of the replay and was shown the Championship Trophy. After the Trophy screen the game hung with my car on track and all I could do was exit the app.

Update: It appears this was a random hang. I did the last race over again and everything worked as it should.

Yeah, for ovals you're doing rolling only.

My recommendation again, Formation laps, rolling starts, pitting, cooldown laps...leave it all on Manual.

Anyone here on PC having problems with start-up crashes? This BugSplat program pops up every time it does so as well.

Haven’t had a crash yet. It did freeze on me when going between qualifying and race online once though.
Update: This is a bigger issue than I thought. Most of my Steam games are crashing on start up, not just pCars 2.

Fuming is not the word, the Project Cars Forum was no help at all, you cannot criticize them at all or you get suspended as I am, but after nearly two weeks I fixed the problem, touch wood, I went to help on the screen and pressed to Default button and it fixed the problem, my wheel is now recognised on the calibration screen and can be calibrated.

I have had 2 career races on an icy track that are unplayable. Classic group A at Bathurst and a mercedes RX at not sure which track. Neither of them had grip no matter what tyres were chosen and quit both within a minute as unraceable. I know this was highlighted in a different race series but seems any race on ice (other than the ice track which has decent-ish grip!?!?) is unplayable. And I also have the no hand brake issue.
Thought I was doing well with lack of bugs but they are slowly getting more frequent.
Still love the game though

Yeah. They removed my post for menus suck... said it didn't meet standards.
I paid for the premium package. So disappointed in the way they set up the menus. I think I'm going back to p1
Wasted $120... perhaps it works better on other systems but on PS4 it sucks.

Just to react to this very common misconception: if you take a look at the official pC forum you'll find lots of decently-worded criticism, and none of the posters got suspended. What will get you suspended is behaviour that would get you into trouble in real life as well (swearing, shouting, insulting, accusing people of being frauds, etc.).

I guess we will see. There was no swearing in my post. However I did abbreviate project cars 2, and forgot to state, "in my opinion" and I think I missed some capitals. I reposted it, with all the proper grammar (I think)
But I do not have spell check on my I pad.

Do you have anything mapped to Circle? You can use that to leave the pause menu too.
I also had the issue where it was also incorrectly shifting up when starting a race or first entering the pit garage, presumably from pressing the X button to select ‘start race’ etc in the prior menus, so the circle tip doesn’t fully get around that.

And your an ambassador for Project Cars are you?, well it is a fraud to sell a product that is not ready for the market place, and expecting the people who buy it to sort out the bugs, when all this should have been done before selling it in the first place

I don't know man, me and my friends have been playing this since launch without major issues, besides a few that have been reported and been confirmed to be fixed in the next patch. Nothing game-breaking (for us). So to claim this game is not ready and a fraud is taking it a bit too far... (Sucks if you have issues of course, but they're on it).
