Car configuration menu has everything there, race engineer is a great help for those who do not know the whole thing. I found a program called TUNING PARADISE, I found interesting the possibility of integrating things, as everyone knows, a picture is worth a thousand words.

I have a question
In this video we can see the Toyota 86 and the Toyota GT86, but on the official car list, we can't see this 2 cars in the road car part. We can only see the Rocket bunny version in GT4 part.
With the disparition of Toyota road car in forza and in Need for Speed Payback, I'm really affraid because I love this car.
Is GT Sport he last game where we can see Toyota road cars ?

Toyota seem to have an issue with car modification. Since PCars does not feature modification it should be fine.

To WMD people. In the current build does the off track system tell you how much time you need to give back along with how long long you have to give it back? Also will the system still give you a penalty if you make a mistake and go off track but you don't gain an advantage?

Good to know, i was expecting some kind of official news, but considering who liked your post, it did happen.

I guess reviewers already have gotten their copies then.
Yea i didn't mean anything by my question :) I just thought there would had been a official announcement

Glad it went gold :cheers::bowdown::D

The warning stays in the screen until you give back the positions you gained but you need to do it within a certain amount of time.

I also got a slow down penalty and the warning just told me to slow down (no timer). I think it was because I gained time to the guy in front by cutting a chicane a bit too much :D I just lifted a bit and the warning went away.

It was one of those rare times I drove against the AI and a 1st I got both messages as far as I can remember and this was a few days ago.

I think it was perfectly fair (especially when I gained the position :D ) and even if it got me by surprise I had absolutely no issues in both cases as I handles both in a very intuitive way.

The slow down message is particularly good since it's a bit of intuitive and tbh IRL is a "feel" thing.

No auto slow-down or no "slow down for 5s" type of thing either. It's us in charge of the car at all times :)

Very cool stuff and adds that extra bit of managing risks at the limit but without over-punishing the player.

We want reviewers to review gold with Day 1 Patch. We've added a ton of small improvements since the Gold build.

I was thinking about this... but usually reviewers take a lot of time on games like this one, so hopefully everything goes according to the plan. We are used to embargos on reviews to be lifted usually a week before release, or sometimes three days before. Only you guys know when the Day 1 patch will be/is ready, so we´re just speculating right now.

We´re hoping for good reviews, because even tough we are already more than sold on the game, we know it´s important for a lot of people. I have a feeling that a 90% MC can be achieved this time.

Now there's confidence in their product for you. Unlike F12017 which had fantastic reviews but were of the pre day 1 patch build, which broke the game.

If the day one patch is late landing then this info needs spreading far and wide in case Joe Public sees it as some kind of review embargo. Nothing makes Joe more nervous than a review embargo, real or imagined.

that bothers me because everything was going fine .. some tweeking around the edges yeah but this suggest lots of changes are needed on the production copy and its not public yet ...

Project cars 2 comes out in 3 weeks. Do we know if we can fill the Online championship with exclusively AI? If we can select circuits without garage (like Mojave) for the online championship (race only)? This would allow an almost offline custom championship even if the car number would be limited on console to 16.

UNtil we get the reviews, that could be anything. Cloud formations, UI improvement, the flickering on the windscreens during replay have been cleared, jaggies in one or two liveries smoothed out, pit crew animation updates, exhaust flame tweeks, driver hand animations in VR improved... I certainly don't know, but I'll trust Ian this close to release.

That's a good conviction to have, because that way there's absolutely no excuses for bugs. Reviewers often state it "may be fixed in the Day One Patch" and you won't have something like that. What they review is what the customer gets; very good for us.

The question is just: When do you want to be ready with that D1 patch? Because "on release" is a bit too late, if I may say so.

Improving doesn't stop after going gold, or even after release. It's a continuous process. Especially after the game is released more things will be discovered (because more people using it) and they will be fixed. There's no such thing as a bug free software-product, especially really complex ones like this. What matters is how the developer treats this, and as you can see in here SMS is treating this completely open and to the point.

I don't say this to be negative, only realistic, but get ready for bugs nonetheless.

It's the earliest time you can apply a patch, so devs could only be more late with it. If you buy a digital copy, I bet you won't ever run the gold version of the game once however, only the version with the D1 patch.
