Anyone else REALLY struggle at Fuji Speedway? Im quick and can win at other circuits but Fuji I am a full second off the next slowest car
I have trouble in turn 3 on GT hard slicks on Fuji. But not in general. And that being said it is a hard track to be fast at. Starting with the braking for turn 1. Then the long right hander of turn 4. And from turn 8 until the last corner it's hard to carry enough speed through. I've lost a second in all of those corners, by not getting them right. But when you do :gtpflag:

One thing I did notice is that if Im a lot slower than the AI on a certain track, I tend to default to the AI being unbalanced there, but Im thinking that may not always be the case. For example at algarve I have very little experience and happened to try a slightly different line on a couple of corners that saved me 7/10 of a second. i had always thought the AI was too fast there but now i think i was just too slow...

Yeh it is a tricky circuit. When I hand over to my AI driver he goes 2.8seconds quicker?! Guess I have only played Fuji on GT5/GT6 and the AI are so slow on those games I didn't realise I was that off pace

I'm okay around Fuji but really struggle at Sakitto, I did a GT3 series where I was quickest at almost every track then got to Sakitto and finished 24th on pace.

@BrandonW77 click where the mirror should be and it will highlight blue like in my picture, then click in the green area I highlighted to toggle it.

Edit: Also, I've noticed once you've done this, if you change your view in-game the mirror will disappear again forcing you to go back into the editor and re-enable it.

No dice. :indiff: I'm thinking it may be a bug with triple screens?

apropo the AI driver; how can I select the AI driver? I can't seem to find it in any of the menus. I probably can't see the wood for the trees, but it's driving me mad, Can anyone help?

Brandon the cursor that you need to enable the mirror is almost invisible and it's very difficult to see. It's a circle and I had to move the left analog stick on my controller slowly around the screen until I could see it.

If and when you can see the circle, put it in the upper right hand corner of the mirror and click whatever button is the equivalent to X button on the PlayStation controller on your controller. It will then bring up the options that you see in wabbits picture.

I'm on PC so I don't have a controller or an analog stick, I move the cursor around with the mouse. When I click on the mirror a box on the right monitor gets highlighted but there's nothing in it and when I click on it nothing happens.

I managed to edit the HUD on my triple screens but it was a mission.
You have to randomly click around the screen until you 'identify' a HUD element. Then you can edit it or move it around.
I've eventually got my HUD sorted but it was frikkin' difficult.

The Nitto tires (eg. Rocket Bunny GT86) could use identification too, so I got the descriptions from Nitto's website:

NT01 -- DOT-Compliant Competition Road Course Tire
NT05 -- Max Performance (Passenger) Tire
NT555 -- Summer Ultra High Performance Tire
NT90W -- Studless Winter Tire
Terra Grappler -- All-Terrain Light Truck Tire

I wish the AI were programmed to be more diverse with their car selection. I'm tired of my Group C fields being 1 of each Nissan, 2 Jaguars, and seven thousand Sauber C9s.

And None of the 10000000000000000000000000 Saubers in their original livery :D

using this picture, has anyone had problems with turning on the track map in the top right corner? Im on PC and no matter what the option is set on it never shows up.

My track map was on by default, displaying fine, I turned it off and it stays off. Just tried turning it back on and yep, I can't see it.

No worries, I appreciate the effort. At this point I'm thinking it's a bug with triple screens.

I think you might be right :(

I have not tried Sakitto on PCars2 yet. Its in the GT3 488 I'm struggling at Fuji. Any advise on set up etc??

When I'm watching replays, how do go each car that's in the race?
I don't know what it is when using a pad. On the wheel you have to press the left paddle shift. It then high lights in blue the top car on that list in the upper left of the screen. Cycle through that list and press A (xbox) on the car you want.

have to agree with ZO6 and 720s. ZO6 was just so tough for me to drive and felt so bland.

Quite the opposite for me. I drove it at Fuji a few nights ago and it was all I could do to keep it pointing in a straight line, being slightly too aggressive on the throttle would kick the rear out. Felt more like driving a Maserati 250 F1 car in AC than a modern track day weapon, my elbows were definitely flying around. Pretty miserable experience, but certainly not bland.
