Getting the ps4 pro today and i wanted to ask what mode/setting works best with pcars 2? I'm on a 1080 tv.
Stick the Pro's boost mode on, I've never had it cause any problems and it'll add a few extra FPS to those games that don't specifically support the Pro.

For an HD screen (mine also) I'd recommend the enhanced visuals option. It just adds a few details and extras that improve the overall experience increasing immersion. If you want a few more fps for slightly smoother gameplay use the enhanced resolution mode - switching on the Pro's supersampling can help smooth out the image even further in this mode.

Happy Pro-ing. ;)

I think that maybe wrong isn't enhanced resolution mode for the 4k tv's its enhanced framerate or something like that for smoother fps but its been awhile since I booted it up and forget how its worded ingame.

I play on XB1X, but all the same, I prefer the enhanced visuals for the added details. I think the car LOD pops later too which is nice. Of course, it all comes down to personal taste, but for me I find this mode the most immersive and the gains of the other modes not as noticeable/worth it.

isn't enhanced resolution mode for the 4k tv's
No I can't remember the name of the third frame rate option without switching it on either.
The reason I suggested the ER mode is because it's a balanced in between mode. Decent graphics with an improved frame rate. PC2 doesn't actually do 4k on the Pro, it'll try to output at 1440p and then that gets scaled down to the HD resolution that Chikane has.

Meet my gtrs new hat

I bought the Deluxe version and starting my recreation races, starting with Le Mans.

I am in the GTE class with good ol' Corvette. 13 laps in and have a comfortable lead on the Aston.

Rest Mode is a lifesaver, I can just pick up the remote and continue where I left off :). It's the closest thing to suspending the race in GT5, but it works.

How does this work Forza?:)
Its a PS4 feature. When you hold the Home button you can select Rest Mode. That will put the console in a kind of Sleep mode and keep open games running.

Then, when you're ready to play again you just press the Home button again and it'll load up where you left off.

I lost 7 hours because my stupid console had to do a storage check!
Damn! A DNF. I suppose you can look at this way, it's better than loosing 23 hours.

When the option is available to run such long races you'd think there would be save & load features within the game.

Perhaps 6 hours of Le Mans might be better

(What's a storage check? I don't think I've encountered that)

It was some kind of check up or update.

Next time I'll stick to shorter races until I can get more time for the 24's.

I've run several 12 hours successfully, start them 6 am and you'll be done around dinner lol Using the a.i. driver helps you get stuff done during the day

I don't know why a suspend option isn't in this game. I heard that it's because they didn't want the game size to be increased. But look at GT5, it has more than double the cars and has it.
