Circuit looks like Silverstone. But I may be wrong.

I would concur.

Well I'm going to be different and disagree then, because it's not Silverstone. I'm trying to think of which circuit it is though. That seems to be a very distinctive roof on the grandstand. It made me think of Sepang originally, but the unique roof there is a different design. I'm still hunting through google images to find it though, so I shouldn't take too long lol.

Here's a photo of Silverstone's pit lane for reference:

It's also not the old pit either, I checked that too lol.

And I am.

I was actually thinking Nurburgring's GP pits, but I don't think that roof is there either. The length of those grand stands, the roof on the left one, and the pit lane itself, including the pit garage outer wall, just don't look like Silverstone at all to me. I suspended my search to watch FP1 of the Aus GP though lol.

Approaching bed time for me..... the only other track I can think of that has that curve in the pits is Hockenheimring, but again that roof is wrong...... All other tracks I can think of tend to have a straight pit lane.

I think I solved it......

And the winner is.........

Imola (I think)......

Yep, definitely Imola. I had gone through F1 circuits, and then was looking through Pcars 1 circuits, as well as checking new circuits we know will be in Pcars 2. Hadn't gotten to Imola yet, but you've definitely found it. Everything lines up, from the kink in the straight, as seen in the way the grand stands line up with the pit lane, to the grand stand roof, to those screens on the pit wall (another difference to Silverstone). Good job mate, you win one beer, unfortunately, it's a digital beer

Cheers!!

It was just a matter of it driving me nuts not solving it before bed time

Um, what's the camber glitch?

Decreasing camber to zero (especially on your rear tires) massively reduces rolling resistance, increasing your straightline performance. It was found that the tenths you got from the exploit was more significant than any cornering bonus you could find with the "perfect" negative camber setup.

It was however addressed back in Patch 7. Not sure it's still as big an exploit as it was in the beginning.

When all is completed, I'd love to do a Nismo Festival at Fuji.

Just a gathering. Maybe a few impromptu races, but just all types of Nissans on track(as much as possible) for the enjoyment of it all.

I also saw this short 3 part interview with Ben not sure if its old & a re-post sorry if that is the case, but i didn't see before.

Good exposure and good info. However I really don't understand articles like this. At the beginning of the articles they always make pcars 1 sound like it was this horrible arcade game that completely missed the mark for sim racers. Pcars 1 is an amazing game when it is working as intended without bugs interfering. It also has amazing physics for 90% of the time until you get to the 10% over the limit. I'd like to know if these people who say it has "gamey handling" have ever even played it.

Controversy creates clicks I guess...

I wouldn't say it has gamey handling i think that may come from the amount of grip that some people used to other sims may consider it too easy but i think they didn't get the handling correct or as good as other sim games. And the transition of grip is really important as i think when people asses handling they are taking a corner & on the edge of it.

Yes that gets to me a little as well. But in all humility, pCARS2 is SO much better that it motivates this sort of language by comparison.

hi Ian,
Could you tell us a word about RallyCross, especially the work of Oliver Eriksson and Mitchell DeJong in Pcars 2 ?
thanks.

I think it's the C-elysse
According to this picture, it can't be that because of the positioning of the lights.

Same issue for the M3 GT.

Had a brainwave that it might be the RS3 LMS TCR but the lights are wrong on those too.
