Well, I watched this. This guy did not hold back on his critcisms.

LMAO, that guy is hilarious!

Can’t really say he’s wrong though, I’m getting royally sick of my no-grip space tires as well. Sliding off the track driving... err coasting my stock Jag SVR less than 100 km/h on the back corner of Sakitto? Right... all the sim I want I guess?

I've made a comparison between PC2 and PC3

(note YouTube is still processing the HD version)

Here's my key takeaways,

PC2 looks better visual (imo) because it has a slight bit more sharpness to it, whereas PC3 seems softer, yet has more jaggies, and also has way to much saturation.

PC2 is OKAY to drive on the controller, PC3 is much better, but the GTR I used for the direct comparison is way to drifty.

PC2 seems to run 'smoother' to me, i'm not sure what they've done in PC3 but it almost seems like the frames are all merging into one and having really uneven frame pacing.

Question for wheel users, as people going into it right out of the box is maybe the best time to ask -- is it quicker and simpler to get a satisfactory result out of the FFB settings this time?

I have a Logitech G25 (and PS4 Slim), and between the upgrades, livery editor, and the new track content, I'm feeling way more motivated than before to consider investing in a DriveHub and putting together a setup to play this game, if the physics strike me as satisfactory. If I go for it, this would actually be the first console sim I would play with a wheel. All I use it for is an occasional blast on Live for Speed.

Much quicker, I’m actually putting a video up tomorrow with details on it. Mine will be for my T300, but the logic behind it will still be sound.

Anyone tried today’s Rivals event?

That Audi’s an animal :embarrassed:
Yep, it’s a great car.

After 45 minutes, 2 crashes thanks to Steam and a headache trying to get the Ignition Pack working I'm actually liking the game. Sure it's far from perfect, but I can see it being a fun game to pick up once in awhile.

I just hope they do something about the divisions otherwise I think quite a few cars will end up being ignored.

Indeed this game looks great!
Found these shots on the official forum, please tell me it's not Project Cars 3.

Thank you very much taking time to solve this
@jammy21

Step 1: Go to garage
Step 2: Choose car (menu pop ups, go to upgrades, upgrade brakes to (performance, track, or motorsport) - brake balance opens up
Step 3: Go into a race or event and from the race menu choose TUNING and purchase a tuning menu for 100credits
Step 4: In the tuning slot, you adjust the following (brakes/chassis/tyres, suspension, springs/dampers, gearing/differential)

Hope this helps

So seeing and playing the game on my 55" 4k tv all i can say is its not a looker that's for sure.

Least is fun to play and i care more abut that then graphics.

:)
So... you have a laptop with a 1050ti, if I remember correctly. I would recommend trying to see if a Steam app is supported on your TV so you can stream the game to the TV. It should look better and lag would not be too bad. I personally use Shield TV and Nvidia Gamestream, which works quite well for playing PC games from my desktop on TV. Also you could try to just bring the laptop near the TV and plug in the HDMI cable from the laptop to TV for minimal lag. Just to compare to the PS4 version. May be a better solution for you that will improve image quality.

In a nutshell from all comments of these days...

It would have been the best thing to release PC3 with the same base content / visuals as PC2, and the controls implementation as PC3.

Well i think this new career mode would also be great but with "Car classes from PC2" why not?

Has anyone managed to 3-star the C8 Breakout race yet? On an extremely good run I can barely manage something like 1450, but the highest objective is to achieve 1800 which seems absurd to me.

EDIT: Every time I give up and ask about a race I manage to achieve it right after!

Just managed 1805 using one of the alternative routes and skipping some that slowed me down.

What’s the indycar content like? Is there a full season in career mode?

There was gameplay from Oval with IndyCars it was quite terrible... Road aerodynamics on oval circuit, bashing opponents etc.

Here it is. Other than that there is 2019 season skins if I am correct.

@Scaff , I watched your review & found it made more sense to pass on this one. But, during it, I noticed you spoke on basically where the physics were compared to others. Did you find any other instances with certain cars behaving wildly out of spec like you did in your initial reactions like the Alpine?

None yet, and I think tiredness may have been a factor in the Alpine. Don't get me wrong it's not right, but it's not as bad I had first feared.

In contrast, I spent time with the 911 Carrera last night and that was great fun.

Odd, I expected quite a noticeable graphics upgrade considering pitstops, tyre wear, fuel, damage etc. all cut or reduced.

Really tempted to bite the bullet and purchase it today if only to have another racing game to play but a wee bit concerned about reports of wheel users not exactly thrilled with it, also seen reports of G29 not being recognised in some instances.. anyone here using a G29 with a PS4 Pro and has more info would be appreciated 👍
