To be honest without special patch or something i wouldn't count on that. It was confirmed that Playstation 5 if running PS4 title it will knock down it's processor frequency to PS4 or PS4Pro levels. I wouldn't expect better performance than PS4Pro. It could be better if there is some kind of Boost Mode for PS5 but Sony didn't confirmed that option.

Same with ACC.
Right, I know about the compatibility modes. Still, they didn’t rule out the possibility that games may run better than even PS4 pro. I suspect that would require a patch though and by default the game will run in PS4 pro mode. In my case, since I’m using base PS4 right now, even that will be an upgrade, but I’m hoping for more.

I'm also hoping for improved performance on Xbox Series X.

In theory that console should be able to run the whole game on Ultra at an easy 60fps.

So after my MoBo and graphics card decided to die over a week ago I've managed to get a brand new Xbox One X quite cheap (will still be getting Series X, possibly trading this One X for that). As I have a lots of games on my account (all the Forzas etc) I'm just wondering if I should buy Pcars 3 again (now for Xbox). I'm assuming that the patch is still no released for this platform? If so I'll wait for the impressions as currently - to my surprise - I'm really enjoying FM6 which I've never really completed...

BTW, I've already have some of you guys on my friends list but please add me on Xbox Live so we can have some good racing some time...

I had to drag my G29 to my friend's house to check if newest Update fix wheel compatibility and IT DOESN'T.
Logitech G29 still not working on PS4.

Middle finger toward's SMS studios from PS4 users. Why they are so stupid? So many racing games works with no problems with this Great wheel.

But i'm please how game works on my Laptop. On PC i have no bigger issues playing with my Wheel.

I jumped in to complete a couple of objectives and take a few pictures in photomode and got sucked in for the whole day. Driving in this game is so satisfying it's crazy, and I actually like the looks of the game in 90% of the cases. It looks really bad in other 10% though.

I take my time and don't rush through the campaign, especially since one of the trophies is bugged.

Agreed.

while there are issues with game (where is practice /qualy in custom lobbies? And no pit stops?) the physics are excellent, aside from super short braking distances, and the driving experience is incredibly engaging and feels great even on controller.

if you can be satisfied with an engaging core driving experience, definitely pick this up.

on the other hand, if you are someone who would see a game like that and consider it hollow and devoid of value; this might not be the game for you.

I am almost done with getting the trophies as I only need two more; Maximising Potential & Car Collector. My next career event is Road A as I'm progressing linear anyways. After few weeks of playing, the Career Mode isn't all that great and not in-depth as the previous two games. Multiplayer mode is great especially Scheduled Races and that's where I will be more often once I complete the Career Mode.

So we're about a month since launch, can anyone confirm how the online multiplayer numbers are like on the PS4? Full lobbies? Lots of lobbies?
Curious to know before I buy

...and I don't know why but I'm enjoying this game much more on One X than I did on PC (I don't really care that I need to go through the 30% of the career again, I like it...)

Looking for the best class D car. I'm currently trying to do Silver Surfer and I can't quite get the top time. I have the F-Type,which I love but is a bit much for Stowe it seems. My Skyline is pretty good, but I just can't seem to get the average to 58 seconds with it.

I also have the Supra, but.....meh. Any suggestions or just keep going for 1000 more times 'til I get it?

Few weeks ago, playing on PC I managed to complete it using Alpine.

It will likely improve performance. pCars 1 saw improvement on the pro consoles without a patch. As pCars 3 has dynamic resolution scaling and such then with more grunt in the console it shoukd at the very least run a stable frame rate at max resolution without the need to scale back.

A next gen patch would only really serve to improve frame rate and add ray tracing.

Hey guys,
a question: A while ago someone posted a workaround for the cars being locked in lower tiers,i can't seem to find that post.
I would very much appreciate it if anyone could link it,thanks.

Does it happen also to you guys that in any replay the player's car is blurred when it passes in front of the camera?

To me on One X happens in every replay.

In most cases the blur is limited to the wheels, but in some cases the whole car is affected that I cannot recognize as a car anymore, is a complete mess of colors and lines.

Yep, mainly the tyres, but can be the entire car.
