It does if it failed and had to be resubmitted

Probably that is the reason, yes.

But then, strictly speaking, is not taking so long for MS certification, because the certification requirements of the different platforms should be a known thing by now for SMS, since long time ago.

And yet, almost two weeks and the Xbox patch is still in the shadows.

Generally speaking, SMS have just shot themselves in the foot releasing the game in such miserable status.

In regards of the Xbox version, this delay of the patch with other platforms is just giving the final blow on a game issued with so many problems already.

Don't know the numbers of other platforms, but the Monthly Rival event has 2,000 users, and the Weekly Rival Event something like 900 users on Xbox.

On the Discord channel, the argument "Xbox Patch" is a very delicate topic, looks like a Musical Chair.

Considering the game was released a bit less than one month ago, and considering the support is currently receiving from the developers, I see this game as a Walking Dead.

Truly a pity, because it is quite enjoyable.

Please elaborate... This is a genuine request, enabling us to improve where/if possible.

I have the feeling that the request about an Xbox patch is always treated as an embarassement or annoyance, like a hot potato to deal with.

I am totally with you that when a question is asked unpolitely or aggressively, does not deserve a good answer (this is valid for any topic).

But the topic "Xbox patch" looks like always hitting a nerve, regardless how the question is asked.
The fact that there is no target date to be shared already creates tension by itself, so the replies are always very defensive (or protective) to say at least (even if the question is not posed aggressively).

I refrained myself to ask just to avoid any pushback.

I can totally understand the frustrations that may bring.
Unfortunately there is not much we can answer other than "it's coming" and "please be patient"

From our point of view, seeing that question pass many times a day can be frustrating, not only because of the question but not being able to give a solid answer.

Unfortunately asking the same thing multiple times is now, according the new rules, considered spamming and therefore should be avoided...

Rest assured that as soon it comes out it'll be notified, along with notes being released shortly after.

Thank you Konan.
I understand the difficult position of you guys, and your frustation.

I sincerely hope the patch will come soon, is in the best interest of both gamers and SMS, to keep this game alive and improving it.

Fingers crossed.

After watching many videos from content creators on YouTube that already have a working Xbox Series X in their hands, I'm hopeful (but also fearful) that the game will improve just by the sheer power of the console alone.

Are there any patch notes? I downloaded 22 GB of stuff and after quickly starting the game and looking around a bit, I don’t see anything new that catches my attention. Haven’t started a race yet since I’m *cough* working from home *cough* and don’t want to stretch it. Ooh I noticed if you go to the showroom a second time, the daily deal isn’t offered again so I guess that one isn’t fixed and restarting the game is still required there.

edit - when browsing through the garage, thumbnails for cars with custom liveries do load in now instead of showing a shadow without a car, but it still takes like 1-2 seconds before they are loaded in.

I also noticed the game is still NOT Xbox One X Enhanced. I mean.... seriously??? Even PCARS 2 was...

While the entire game developer world is currently getting their future games ready for Xbox Series X Optimisation (including Codemasters with Dirt 5), SMS can’t even be bothered with an X1X enhancement for current gen on their brand new game?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

...I'll just leave it here:

You probably have to do it again, since the game didn’t “remember” that your previous event ticked a new box.

At the time you attempted the event the objective was 1.01 and you didn’t get it.

In other words, no retroactive rewards.

Yup, done it now. You were right @PJTierney

All the other marked ones still exist anyway and they're seem to be more a game than user error :D
