Played it for a few minutes, and unless it's on a car-by-car basis, I already hate the way cars handle without the steering assist.

I need it on low, otherwise it's a slip 'n slide. Again, in my very limited experience.

EDIT: Oh no. I can't do this. Maybe I'll come back to it later but this feels...I don't know what this feels like. Is it supposed to be an arcade racer? If so, I can easily adjust because I love arcade racers.

It's good looking on PC though.

Fast cars on highly detailed tracks...

I'm enjoying it all the same. Just hope the PC games are backward compatible on the next xbox, so I can finally enjoy them to their full potential.

I might have a bit of overhead, any point in using 1440p/84?
I'll see the benefit when I'm on my desk monitor, but on my racing rig I'm using a TV which outputs 60.

I don't mind staying at 60 to conserve PC bandwidth since there may be occasions where I'm running capture software alongside.

No point if your monitor displays 60hz max. Your PC will just work harder to render frames you cannot see.
Especially if your running other software as well.
Run Afterburner, adjust refresh rates, watch temps.

Well i just found out that when you do a event a second time it be race/hot lap or whatever in career mode you don't get money for it only XP

The hell?

So when you finish all career events and only have like 5 cars in your garage then what?

Did any thought of any kind go into this career mode?

You're getting money for career events?

Yeah, this definitely seems to be a problem for me too as I want to buy new cars (and not upgrade my entry level cars all the way to the top). I saw somewhere that doing custom games gives money, but less than career mode races, so I guess I need to go grind out some there, which is rather annoying.

Just played on xbox one x on a g920. Had to do the same race as it wasn't fully installed but it seemed fun. Ai is easy so have it on second highest with highest aggression. My game was a bit juddery but I will see if that is gone once fully installed tomorrow. I have abs and stability control on but once they were turned off I didn't win the race as I got span out by the ai. To me it felt just like grid. Which is lucky as I like grid, I think it's a great pick up and have a blast game. I checked my project cars 2 ffb settings as I couldn't get it feeling right at first but then it was okay. I could see screen tearing occasionally but it wasn't anything like as bad as assetto corsa competizione for breaking the immersion. I have plenty of time free tomorrow so I'll throw myself into it then and hopefully I'll dive into online too. I will install it on my OG xbox in the living room and play it on a controller too to see what it is like.

It doesn't say anywhere. The liveries will be for any csr though asnits a set of liveries you can choose from for your custom liverybin the editor.

Nope. Jimmy Broadbent said on stream he didn't think it was there but it is absolutely there. The dry to wet transition on the races is all present and correct with puddles forming and drying lines when going the other way.

Don't believe everything you see on YouTube ;)
I think Jimmer was talking about the change in handling when going from wet to dry/vice versa - not the visuals.

I thought you only got credits when you tick off one of those white wedges on the XP bar, regardless if you already completed a race before or not.

By the way, anyone else on a controller have a lot of oversteer problems? Watch this clip of the daily race, in those first 3 corners I initially have my analog stick for steering all the way pushed towards turning into the corner, yet the car barely wants to steer into the corner (when I’m already at a rather low speed) unless I almost slow down completely.

Anyone knows how to get this pack on a PS4? Is it included in the base game? I didn't find anything like this in the store.

That's also false; definitely works. Not sure how one could miss it as it's an extremely obvious effect and extremely easy to verify. There are several career events where the transition plays a role. As confirmed by multiple people already in this thread.

I read it should be included with both the base and deluxe until Sept 28th but I wasn't totally sure if that's the case. When you go into ps4 library is it showing as an add on? I brought it on xbox deluxe edition and it just downloaded it but I have a ps4 also and sometimes have to manually add the download from the library

Edit. Just remembered that I was reading this on amazon when looking for my most cost effective way of buying the game

Judging from the PredefinedSettings.xml file in the games installation folder on PC, default settings for the PS4/XB1 are between Low/MediumLow for most settings.
