I think personally that SMS should stick to cars that run on petrol/diesel at first.
Chaparral is a must for meI would love it if some of the old Can-Am cars made it to PCARS. Those things are insane.
Chaparral 2E
I mean just look at that wing!!!
if the license was affordable, and lets be honest Formula E are the party with this idea with whoever they worked with, that would theoretically drive the price down. It would also add some pretty neat, tight street tracks. (Punta Del Este and Buenos Aires were pretty good IMO, and then nobody would turn away Long Beach...*)
*Yeah I know, there was also Beijing. Not the greatest track the world has ever seen...
I've got behind this series from day 1 so I'm entirely biased though. It's the future...
WEC is great. You get all the supercars that everyone recognises in the GT classes and you get superfast racing prototypes in the Prototype classes.I much rather see a WEC license than that nonsense about cars that lasts for a couple os minutes and are built around batteries. Eletric driven cars are the future. But not battery powered ones.
Anyway, back to topic, WEC is a better place for technology development and it is a stronghold to motorsports fans in general.
And that's why I'm so excited about the car roster in pCARS. Lots of prototypes to race around.
Beat you to itWishlist is below fellas. This thread is supposed to be for the current and W.I.P. car list, announced licenses etc.
Project Cars GTP Wishlist Thread
Jesus Christ the comment section gave me a headache.
Yes the music does give you a headache, there is no Caper Stock Car.
Just a handful of trolls bitching about the car list. Nothing more than flies on the windshield as you sail down the highway.Jesus Christ the comment section gave me a headache.
They're not trolls, they're really, really annoying real opinions. I expect most of them call themselves gamers, and yet they seem to have forgotten about racing games like toca race driver, a game which I don't recall anyone moaning about the car list, despite being the same size as PCARS. You guys really forgot about the three racing games that released last year with less than a hundred cars, with two having a list in the fifties?Just a handful of trolls bitching about the car list. Nothing more than flies on the windshield as you sail down the highway.
Not to mention the dlc that'll be coming.Release car list is amazing for the first WMD game. Has pretty much anything you would ever need to race with. Sure a few cars are missing but they are on a tight budget. I'm surprised the cars they have gotten.
I'm looking forward to the Indy car DLC the most which will most likely have to be paid for. Never said on the site if it was free or not.Not to mention the dlc that'll be coming.
I think street cars are restricted to street tyres and race cars get slicks in hard, medium, soft, intermediate and wet. I THINK.Can all the cars use all the tyres?
Can all the cars use all the tyres?

Could someone ( maybe WMD member ) create a thread/list of confirmed and rumoured DLC cars ?
Look on the first page. All confirmed cars are listed there plus some still unconfirmed ones. I don't think it would make sense to discuss rumoured DLC cars. This would end in another car wishlist.
OK, thanks.Basically, every car that is "not yet ingame" will be dlc.
It seems that the devs have already gained more licences we members don't know about. So all cars we know about are in the first post.
But some of us MAY like a little taste of what we may be seeing in a future. And I'll say it again, we don't want to know everything in advance, we want surprises.
Don't we.
But some of us MAY like a little taste of what we may be seeing in a future.
The car count is fine in this gameYes. Especially those who wanted a higher car count.
