Ill vote for ps4 version rather ps3, because on ps3 there is GT6 coming so no point having two racing games on same console. That would spoil the sell for pCars, most gamers would pick GT rather pcars so i think that sms should think towards PS4 and help sell system as well as the game.

PCARS is my new fix so i hope they can release it on current gen if that's possible... that would be ideal for me 👍

Just my opinion, but I think they will try and release pCARS on as many consoles as possible. I guess we will have to wait until the dust settles. :)

^ Depends on the console. One of the reasons for the proposal of going for a next gen console release, and dropping the current gen, is because we're all (users and devs alike) geared up for wanting something next gen. And next gen quality isn't going to happen on current gen consoles...

Looks like new challengers have arrived to face off against T-12 and Chaotic's pictures.

Nah mate, just here to help promote the game and spread the word :)
It's a beautiful game, and if enough people purchase it, we all are winners! Devs make enough $$$ and just imagine pCARS 2 a few years down the road with better funding!

This game even in pre-alpha stage is putting to shame a lot of released games out there.

My goodness, running Monte Carlo at day or night? I'm surprised I haven't given money to this game sooner.

I am sure the dislike for the games made under direction of EA under the developers current name Slightly Mad Studios had most of you in doubt.

Just know that the guys (most of them if i am correct) who worked on the good stuff (GTR 2, GT Legends and so on) during the Simbin/Blimey years of SMS are now working on pCARS stuff.
So if you knew the green hell or other iconic things from those games, you can expect the same attention to detail in pCARS. Add to that the gained experience and increased knowledge of each artist and developer over the years, plus the improved power of PC and their graphics tools and techniques.
Well... I think it is one hell of a recipe for an awesome game. ;)

That actually has nothing to do with it. I haven't spent any money towards this game because I have not been following it closely enough to justify it. It doesn't bother me at all they worked for EA because the games they made under them, I did enjoy.

Everything else you posted, I am well aware of, though. I've been a big GTR/2 fan for many years now & believe it continues to give one of the best racing atmospheres in a sim with 36-65 car grids & 4-24 hour races. I was anxiously awaiting GTR3, but that appears to have become vaporware.

However, this looks to be filling that same void & the aforementioned development by former Simbin developers is a major plus. Watching some of the videos, this has a couple Shift elements in it as well as some GTR/2 ones. As you said, that's a hell of a recipe for a game.:)

R8TEDM3 - awesome shots, but could you just post thumbnails linking to the full size images in future? Not everyone has internet that can handle downloading a dozen 1-2MB pictures at the same time. Cheers bud 👍

Can't wait until work starts on Ruapuna Park/Powerbuilt Tools Raceway, being my local it means a lot to me to see it in-game. Will try and see if I can help development of the track in some way if possible as well :)
