Not sure if I had this answered before, since I forget...but SMS pulled a PD with Monaco correct? What I mean is they built the track for the game but named it differently to get around licensing or is it not a licensed track and if so how??
 
At the moment, the intention is to get a contract with every track owner featured in the game, all of them. However, if it is not possible to get that official license, whether due to financial or time restraints, they are still intending to put the game in under a pseudonym, as it is not possible to trademark a physical landmark.

GT6 looked better IMO.

But yeah, pre-alpha

Matter of taste, I suppose, but I thought that PCARS track surface, trackside object and lighting are much better. Especially the contrast/vibrancy of the colours, the shadows and lensflare effects and, by extension, the sun's reflections looked a lot better than what GT6 offered. Of course, just my opinion, mind you. And for the trackside objects, I'd say that the pit area, grand stands and trees and such are considerably more detailed in PCARS. Which, I suppose, is only natural given the difference in terms of hardware.

I didn't like the way pCArS handles the motion blur, making the track and objects outside the track look washed out. GT6 does a better job in this department. Also, I didn't think the track surface looked better on pCARS, seemed to lack in texture quality, whereas GT6's track looked more crisp. Neither did pCARS's track reflect the sun better. Some of the other points you mentioned are valid though, however, lens flare is an annoyance and does only take away from the experience instead of adding to it, since it's can be distracting and hides textures.

I'm looking forward to pCARS though and I am not biased to GT6 one bit, mind you.

Well if this was a normal game you would never have known and it still would be missing.

Probably the biggest Audi fan here, I wouldve noticed. Grid 2 got Audi too, this also makes me grumpy.

No what I meant was you would have never seen it being in the game so there would be no anger about taking it out.
You would just request to add it.

1280x1024 or 1024x768 would be ideal. 👍
 
Anyone know of any witchcraft to get SLI working? I just can't get it working, no matter what mode I use (SLI off, AFR1, AFR2) I get 99% util on GPU1 and 10% on GPU2...

I tried a SLI profile someone created on the WMD forum but that made absolutely zero difference :\
