Anyone know of any witchcraft to get SLI working? I just can't get it working, no matter what mode I use (SLI off, AFR1, AFR2) I get 99% util on GPU1 and 10% on GPU2...

I tried a SLI profile someone created on the WMD forum but that made absolutely zero difference :\

Just try Mrpix's profile from WMD forum, and don't select AFR1 Or AFR2, only set the Multi GPU rendering mode to NVIDA recommended and it should give you 99% usage on your GPU'S. Good luck mate!
 
I would've voted for Marek's car for LMP1, and FLX's for LMP2.
 
Amazing machines! I hope Audi, Toyota, Porsche or any other company manufacturing LMPs hire some of these guys for designing racecars.

If I could, I'll vote for FLX, Patrik, panzer and Big Ron. đź‘Ť

If I recall correctly, only Patrick's had any aero analysis done on it. All of the others were just based on the floorplan of the Asano LX11 designed by SMS, with a brief of 'design what you think it should look like'.

Slight correction: Ours wasnt based on the R18 floor panel, we studied the 2013 rule book and came up with everything ourselves. Since the R18 is a LMP1 and we wanted to make a a LMP2 car, there are some measurement differences, different wheel sizes allowed etc.

Only two things that irk me a bit: Too much shaking going on in the cockpit (in the first video, at least), but I suppose that can be turned down, right? Also, sometimes, some cars look a bit too glossy. The black Z4 GT3, for example. But, aside from that... :drool:
 
I voted for Panzer's and, of course, yours, FLX. There has to be at least one original LMP2-like car in the game!
My thoughts exactly, and I voted the same as well.

But it looks like the Ryno and Marek cars have a big lead (Both P1s I think). Both look somewhat realistic, but I have to say neither are lookers. :indiff:

I certainly hope the handling is better by now. I don't mind the FFB being odd on my T500, it's a beta after all. I wanted to give it another shot this week, so fingers crossed. That's really the only thing that keeps me from playing it all day long. :)
 
Great pics although not sure if its me or not but the Z4 doesn't look as good as the GT6 one imo :/

Thanks mate :cheers: and while GT6 release date is just around the corner, it is more polished. But like FLX1981 has said "modeling is almost the same" and i'm sure by next year, when the game goes on sale it will look a lot better :)

I think pCARS on consoles is gonna look very close to PC! The reason i say that is when playing pCARS on PC, you're so close to the screen that you need huge amounts of raw power, along with some heavy downsampling, to hide away jaggies, while on consoles you sit 6-10 ft away from the screen, and you won't notice imperfections as much!

Also, i think that console version of pCARS will be like playing the game on PC with high settings, without insane amount off AA enabled of course.
