Today gave a first go to the tire heat model iteration thingamajing.. ended up with something that feel truly great for me. Not perfect, but it took me 4,5 hours ...will continue tomorrow. (skidding etc in the end..)

(actually I got it to better already but no vid..)

Great vids Timppaq, good to see someone pushing for speed. Any chance you can do a vid of the tuning options? I can't wait till this game hits PS4 the leaderboard battle should be epic.

Project CARS gameplay giving a lap at belgian circuit of Spa-Francorchamps with Audi R18 (Asano LM11 TDX in the game), after the lap also the replay.

I notice that the OP has not been updated for several months now.

Is there any word on when this game may be released for the PC?

I'll see what I can do Steve when I get the next chance..

here's a new PB session (1'31.8, 4th lap, skip to 7'25).

edit,

new go..

Nice work there. I am really glad AJ followed my input, as it seems to have turned pCARS around in a good sense. All cars getting a FFB update next week and possible tyre updates where needed.

Would you mind passing me whatever setup/settings you use in that last vid in a PM over at WMD? :)

@R8TEDM3 I wanted to ask if you have a powerful gaming pc but then I saw your signature. It must be powerful to be able to make these incredible screenshots.

You'd be surprised, after a while it becomes a case of diminishing returns. My system is less powerful than his, but the graphics aren't far off.

What do you expect, a game on a high end modern PC vs a game designed to run on 7 year old hardware. If Project Cars didn't look better than the developers would be doing something very wrong! Real comparison will be GT7 on the PS4 vs Project Cars, more of an even playing field.
