The iRacing version almost looks real , like if it was mounted on the front of the car with a go pro or something.

iRacing's version of Laguna Seca looks ridiculously good. Both track lay-out and graphics wise.

It was a new trailer
Sorry, I have problems with the music, I'll do it all again.

A greeting and I'm sorry

I seem to have an odd problem with my game, latest build. All of the livery textures/logos appear absolutely awful, i'm talking Minecraft awful here. I thought it was just a custom one I'd downloaded but all of the original ones are the same. I even tried cranking the settings up to the max and whilst the game was unplayable, the textures were still terrible.

They were never like this before, even though I only play with moderate settings. Short of a complete reinstall, any ideas?

EDIT: Remembered I reinstalled my graphics drivers and CCC recently and that was the problem. What are the recommended settings for the Gaming > 3D application settings? CCC 12.6.

Well, I'd suggest upgrading to the latest ATi drivers, 12.11b It works so well on pCARS, and will give you a big boost in performance if you are running 57xx cards and above. As for settings, switch off AA and AF, choose 'Use application settings'.

Well I'm only using a HD4850 so I believe 12.6 is the highest I can go to, at least that's all that is offered on the site or if I check for updates in CCC. I obviously want to upgrade to a 7 series card but I don't have the funds right now.

Anyway I adjusted the settings in CCC and everything seems to be back to normal now.

Tried multiplayer earlier, well to say it's a bit of a mess right now is an understatement. I'm not sure why they implemented it so early when collision detection is so poor. Every race I entered was a mess at the start and at various points on the track. I did have some decent battles but for the most part it felt exactly what it was, a very early, pre-alpha online. On the upside lag or lack of it was pretty good, most cars were pretty smooth on the track as long as they weren't touching each other.

The other problem is people didn't seem to realise they're meant to be testing it and were just racing off into the distance, not bothering to try and race other cars. Every time I was in no mans land I'd drop back to let others catch up and then have a race with them, test things out.

I mean I know it's obviously going to get 100x better but it seems rather pointless at the moment.

Woah, multiplayer's out for team members, looking to hop in to a room later.

We should get together a few of us to run a quick multi-heat championship so we can crown the first pCars league champ. :D:tup:

I get the message 'The program can't start because XINPUT1_3.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem'
I tried reinstalling from the pCars installer but it didn't help. I don't have to download the whole thing from the website again do I? Because that took 10 and a half hours

Edit: Sorry stupid question, looked it up on WMD

I have this problem too, how do I fix it? I can't find anything on WMD. I'm probably just being a noob and missing something that"s right in front of my face.

Edit: Oh, derp. For future reference, anyone who has this problem has to download and install this.

Anyway, I'm excited to try it out! :D

Edit 2: I've put all visual settings on the lowest setting possible, but I still have horrible, horrible input lag with my G27. I've got a brand new PC. Any help?

Not off the top of my head, you should try posting that in the WMD forums and see if anyone has an answer to it.

This is my computer.

A HD6450 is not a gaming GPU at all, I would imagine you're getting the exact performance it can muster. You'll probably get better performance on games that are finished and more optimised but still if you want to do some proper gaming you'll need something much more powerful than that. To call that PC a gaming PC is nearly false advertising.

That's also what the guy said on the WMD forum said today. What GPU should I get?

Anyone read one of Andy's post recently .

No, why?

Well it depends on your budget, I play on an old HD4850 which gets me ~40fps with moderate settings, you could get one of those second hand for next to nothing but if you have a few hundred dollars you can get a fast 6 or 7 series card, something like a HD7850 can be had for around $210 for example.

Basically the more you have to spend the faster you can go.

Oh and I would also check on what PSU that PC has, I have a feeling it's not a very good one so if you get a new, more power hungry card you'll need a better PSU.

RUF deal signed with several cars, can't remember which off the top off my head.

And some big German manufacturer interested....not Porsche.

Facebook.

The big manufacturer is Mercedes for sure.

It has to be, because Andy's post said SMS was contacted by them. We already have BMW and SMS would have already been talking with Audi. (( VW Group))

I hope that if they do get RUF, they can at least land some clone of a Carrera Cup or a GT3 RSR.
