Nope, probably just a bug, last time I played online none of that information was even there, it was all blank.

In fact that isn't even the IX model they're adding, it's the IX FQ 360. Strange. Where is that from?

Is it? I just launched the game and saw an Evo lobby, I honestly didn't look to see if it was the X or IX like it shows on his picture.

The Mitsubishi's they announced were

Evo VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition
Evo IX FQ 360
Evo X FQ 400

And the only one we've been told is currently WIP is the X so I'm not sure why that IX model is appearing in the list. Only thing to do is join one of the lobbies and see what you're really driving.

So many beautiful skins for this car and I can't get them to show!! So frustrated by that... The "custom" wireframe one doesn't even apear on the 3d scene for me!

I think the full name for the car is 'Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR FQ-360', as it's a tuned Evo IX MR rather than an RS or GSR. I think. Autocar and Autoexpress seem to indicate that much, anyway.

If anyone wants to race tonight I'll be hosting races in about 2 hours.
Formula Rookie, Z4 and Audi DTM.

I don't understand it. I bought into Pcars about a month ago and it looks nothing like any of the pictures I see in here. The cockpits all looks worse then real racing on iPad. I have everything maxed out so I have so idea what my problem could be. The tracks also look really bad. Does it only look like this in photo mode or something or am I just crazy?

I don't no what game your playing :D but project cars looks astonishing during gameplay and has the most detailed cockpits I have ver seen

Can you post a screenshot and your hardware , we may be able to help or you can post on wmd for help.

pCARS looks nothing short of amazing.

Latest drivers installed?

There's no photomode. Any screen taken is done by a fraps type program as the game is running.

I can only think you've got a weak GPU, not looked at the settings properly or you're head is a few inches from a large screen?

Some tracks have placeholder graphics and are very basic. Spa last time looked has some very low res track side hill stuff

I have sli 570s, i7 950, 12 gig of 1866 ram running triple screen at 1080 with everything in the game almost maxed out. Should I be running the dx10 mode or the normal mode of the game?
Maybe give me a car and track to try out that looks really good.
I haven't tried it with a single screen, could it not be ready for triple screen yet and that high resolution is messing it up or something.

Try on just one screen, you've got a bug somewhere .
Maybe the game is not running at the resolution it says. I've had that before where settings were set to1080 but really was 600x800.

Triple screen is not done last I read. There is plans to render each screen separately like iracing. I think right now it'll just stretch the image like other games and look rather crappy.

Best to have a look at the threads on wmdportal as there's plenty who run triple screens. I don't bother as only iracing does it right and I don't play that game anymore.

The Pagani Huayra at Bologna should give good results. As said, check your resolution and post a screen of what you're getting with maybe the TOD and weather settings so can compare. I run with DX11, HDR photographic, textures and reflections on ultra and everything high as it'll go except shadows, I put them on high, MSAAx8.

I also use an FXAA injector which helps clean some jaggies.
Download here
http://luckyshare.net/5951031726/FXAA_injector.zip

Extract the folder, go inside and drag/drop those four files into the project cars main install folder. Use must run the game as administrator if using FXAA. If you don't like it then simply delete those four files.

had a blast on the rookie car!! Till I got taken out on a straight... Anyways good times! We need to set a weekly GTP fun night!!

That is odd, have you tried reinstalling from scratch?

I'll try that later on today!

I wonder if vram is an issue for Bevo. Doesn't matter how many 570s you have, you can only utilize 1.25 GB of vram. pcars uses 1.4-1.5gb of vram on a single 1080 screen last I checked. Running at 5760x1080p will use up that frame buffer along with AA. I know finished games bump down the textures automatically, not sure how pcars does it in its current state.

For pcars, BF3 I'd want 3gb+ cards running 5760 res using ultra high game settings. Crysis 2 with the texture packs can go up to 2GB on one screen. 1.25gb is pretty small these days for high end games even on one screen.

Oh right one website said March 2013, guess it's not true. For PS3 i mean.

No date has been set at all. It will be Q3 2013 at the earliest, and that is not certain because the amount of content that still needs to be created. Just look at the vehicle list at WMD which still has many "not started yet" items, not to start about tracks that have yet to be created as well.

Certainly is, I am maxed out at 3 GB; I believe if you max out VRAM it simply won't load the additional textures so if he is using 1.25 GB at low AA for three screens, any additional AA or high res textures just won't be loaded or processed. Which is probably why his rendered game-play looks nothing like the shots in here.

In all honesty if I had the money I wouldn't have less than 6 GB for triples; 2 GB for each screen, which is even an iffy amount. Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of money lol... yet.
