Not bad, but quite a standard approach to a menu.

Familiarity isn't such a bad thing, when I play any game I just want the menus to be simple and intuitive with as few layers as possible, I hate digging down into menus to change something and then being totally lost. In my opinion the more time wasted on learning the interface, the more of a failure that interface is and it annoys me no end when people try to be clever or make it pretty and just end up making it more confusing. Shift 2's menu comes to mind. I don't particularly like pCARS' current menus either but they've got plenty of time and I doubt they've been focusing on it that much so far.

Do anyone of you guys use MSi Afterburner? It what I use to record all of my videos from games , but recently it has stopped working with pCARS.... :confused:

Well I WAS planning on buying into it as a Christmas gift to myself...

Same here, I'm going to be ordering a new laptop in a few days that will be able to run games like this, plus my current laptop is 3 years old so it was time for a new one. They should still allow people to join in even if the funding is complete. Any idea as to when I might be able to play this?

No release date has been set yet, but the aim is late 2013 currently.

The people already in and still have a Junior and Team Member account might be able to upgrade soon looking at the following poll: http://forum.wmdportal.com/showthread.php?11086-Members-Tool-Packs-upgrades

Indeed. I can't wait for the last couple of months when everything gets properly optimised, it'll look just as good but with much better performance all around.

Looks like I may get a chance to upgrade to get Nurburgring GP.

I dont get why they are holding back content while in Pre Alpha for testing instead of letting everyone test everything. I understand rolling out updates for smaller groups first (like multiplayer).

With so much more content planned I dont see how they will finish it all by Q4 2013 unless some major work has been going on we dont know about. There are more cars that haven't started than those that are in beta not to mention Licenses we don't even know about.

For current members after release expansions could be free/discounted.

Just like DICE did in BF3 for Back to Karkand with pre orders and Limited Editions.

Simples: Because they had to define some goodies for higher tier members that encourage people to upgrade. ;)

Hehe, tried the game the first time only yesterday at my friends place. Sadly it was only with a pad :P - and I'm very rubbish with that - but I was deeply deeply impressed! Now I just need to order the PC and get it to arrive here fast 👍 Will report more after a proper wheel test.

edit,

almost forget - the graphics are AMAZING! :D

Exclusive tracks are for Senior and up.
Exclusive cars are for Full Member and up.

I hope this answers your question. ;)

@T's prior to last post:

Darn, T. That first picture had me fooled for a sec until I noticed the jaggies on the logos in the livery.
Also the rear of the Z4 looks awesome. Though now I look at it, the blue in the logo is a too light a shade I think.

@T's last post:

Those last two pics... I would love a wallpaper of that since the lighting is awesome. Though don't go and make one especially for me. :)

Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't have the usual full-sized shots of those two. Best I can do is 720p as I was messing with the SMAA settings and just stumbled upon those two.

Thanks, but 720p stretched to 1080p isn't really that good looking. So I will pass and keep my photograph of the MotoGP pace car for a bit longer then. ;)

Well this is good news:

Casey Ringley
You definitely can. I set the accel lock at 70% for the new default setup.

Big set of tire updates coming Friday. Here's an overview:

-New tire model for GT-class cars. Affects Asano X4, BMW Z4 GT3, Asano LM11, Pagani Zonda R.
-BMW M1 Procar now using same tread as the Capri. Same era, same tire quality.
-Rough first pass at a street tire model. Affects Ariel Atoms, BAC Mono, Caterham Classic & R500, Gumpert apollo, Pagani Huayra

The LM11 is going to need it's own tire, so this change only goes partway to getting it really nailed IMO. The real car uses a very different construction front to rear to get the handling tuned how they want. We'll need to do the same. BTW, don't be afraid to use TC on this car. It's not cheating.

I expect lots of feedback this weekend. :)

I know that the first thing I'm going to do is take the street cars and try out drifting, I've been waiting so long to be able to actually be able to drift! :drool:
