I this SMS/Bamco need to do some advertisting... I messaged a friend on PSN I play DriveClub with "are you buying Project Cars?" He said "No, it's a point to point racer same as Driveclub"

I asked a friend on Xbone if he was getting it, he didn't even know what it was!!!!!

Big adverts are expensive as hell. Just show them the game when it is released. They might be impressed :)

I'm a team member on WMD and have a few questions. Do I have to wait until the game releases to use the team member 50% off voucher? If so, will the digital version I receive include the 3 pre-order cars?

Apologies if this has been asked or suggested before. If it hasn't maybe someone from WMD or SMS is able to answer me?

A wheel only has a certain amount of buttons whereas most driving sims have many more functions that could be mapped. As an example I have a T300RS which has 12 buttons that can be mapped to functions while driving excluding the "mode", "share" and "options" buttons and shift up/down levers. In the control setup in Project Cars could one of the buttons be effectively set up like a keyboard's "shift key" thereby allowing the 11 other buttons to be used for 2 functions rather than one. Shift could be toggled on and off.

I expect the game hasn't been set up like this as I've not seen it as an option in any driving game. However I'd like to know if there's a technical reason it can't be done. It could be done for controllers too to increase flexibility.

Recently I've been keeping up with all other threads on Project cars except for 2, the video thread and this one. I kept putting them off for another time and now have loads to catch up on. That is why some of you have been getting a few likes for older posts. I'm up to page 407 so only another 60+ pages to go! I'm approaching the end of March so 60 pages have been posted in this thread in the last 3 weeks.

No, don't think so.

Someone mentioned earlier that a USB keyboard works with the PS4. Could a wireless keybaord then be used with the PS4 in lieu of the extra buttons?

I can see that working with a PC, I doubt it would work on a console though where you have to assign a primary controller.

Are the tire pressures in the car setup cold pressures or do they stay the same pressure the whole race and your tire heating process is then controlled by your pressures? (Obviously tire heat isn't only controlled by pressures)

I'm asking because I've seen some setups that had fairly high pressure if they are indeed cold pressures.

To any WMD members; do you ever (if you can) go back to build 10 or build 20 to see just how far this game has progressed? That would be so much fun just to see the difference

Tyre pressures on the setup sheet will be the starting pressures. Some championships permit the use of tyre warmers, which is why you will see higher starting pressures on those cars.

Nice, are tire pressures on the telemetry screen?

sense of speed a big let down . its what i was looking forward to most and the physics of coarse .its a pity because both shift games had good sense of speed hope its a little faster then gt6 though .
Just set it to an ungodly wide FoV and you'll get all the sense of speed you could possibly want

There's definitely no reason it can't be done, technically. On a technical level it's no different to any game that has functions that require button combinations to activate, and as far as implementing that on a wheel of course they could do it. They are already sending pedal, wheel and button inputs down the single USB wire simultaneously to the console so no reason why they couldn't. But I highly doubt it will be available on anything other than PC.
