@Classic Wii U screenshot you have been waiting for đź‘Ť
Understeer, But really if i spent time with it and was able to hear the game am sure it will not be a problem. When i first played it could instantly tell it was miles better than Shift with a controller and i dont think they'l be any issues. The car was oversteering or understeering?
You read my mind! lol
Unfortunately sms were not allowed to to have all the graphic options in. We all quite liked the idea of having the graphics settings so you could turn down certain settings to get an absolute solid 60fps in all conditions. But the console makers don't like it and so won't allow it.It's the next question that's the interesting one ...
"So it's the same FOR ALL PLATFORMS?"
Because according to their response, this means it's a post effect used in PCars on all platforms... I suspect they won't reply
Why don't they just say it's the best we can do for now AND give users an option to turn of AA if it is indeed a side effect of that.
Forza 5 has no AA and is a jag fest, but you can disable camera effects and at least reduce some of the blur/shake/etc...
If I could choose jaggy or blurry, I'd go jaggy all day.

Yes you can; that 's an ingame screenie. At least you can on PC and with this build I'm using (gold). That is one of the more frivolous ones. There are many kinds of processes: black & white, sepia, various tone mappings etc..can't tell if joking but if you can really play the game with that effect on I'm definitely doing it!
Five pages of ghosting overnight and the debate continues.
@Bealdor Figured I'd tag you since you answered all of my other questions. Is there a camera stiffness setting for chase cam so that the camera doesn't rotate around the back of the car?
Thanks, againI don't think so but I'm not sure about that. A lot of effort was put into the chase cam and there was a time where it was fixed to the rear of the car (completely stiff) and believe me, you won't wanna race a Formula A car with this setting.
I just did a screenshot with "Mosaic 8 and Old TV". Here's our beloved GTP RUF CTR3 SMS-R in all its 8 bit console on an old on-it's-last-legs-TV glory:
At least some games on PS360 allow to turn V-Sync on and off. GT6 has a similar option.Unfortunately sms were not allowed to to have all the graphic options in. Some people prefer the camera like in GT, some don't.A lot of effort was put into the chase cam and there was a time where it was fixed to the rear of the car (completely stiff) and believe me, you won't wanna race a Formula A car with this setting.
TLoU runs badly at 30fps. don't know what they've done to it but it doesn't look like 30 to me. never played it on PS3 so can't compare. not sure why they even put the option in as the 60 was pretty solid. At least some games on PS360 allow to turn V-Sync on and off. GT6 has a similar option.
On PS4:
The Last of Us Remastered lets you lock frame-rate at 30fp.
inFamous: Second Son will get 30fps framerate cap option

Setting a lock is totally different to adjusting anti aliasing and texture detail. Ultimately i think most of you are making a mountain out of a molehill with this ghosting topic. At least some games on PS360 allow to turn V-Sync on and off. GT6 has a similar option.

The ghosting in each frame combined with persistence of vision at 60FPS approximates the human visual system's limitations. Certainly all the 60FPS videos on-line look fine to me - I just see (a not overdone) motion blur effect on the road and scenery .
With regards to the driver's hands I'm certain that we had various bugs during development in this area that were fixed - a bunch of graphics code wasn't correctly setting the flags to exclude items like the driver from the motion-blur effect. It's entirely possible that this is a geniune bug though - so was the capture from a video or from a shop running the game? If it's from a shop it's worth checking if the game has the D1P patch applied since it may already have been fixed.
Update:

Everything I've seen from PS4 looks like a very simple full-screen motion blur, without considering any objects.
45So online for ps4, 16 cars will be on the track at once. How many cars can be on the track offline? I'm seeing videos 30 and more.
Stick that in your pipe and smoke it GT & Forza.
?? But we don't know yet how many cars GT7 will hold on tarmac.Stick that in your pipe and smoke it GT & Forza.
Unless PD suddenly decides to change their strategy, they'll go for eye candy all the way. So massive poly count for the cars, but less cars on track. But I suppose they'll aim for more than they have now. đź‘Ť?? But we don't know yet how many cars GT7 will hold on tarmac.
