Left it downloading from Steam this morning before heading to work. 10.6MB/sec when I left here in Brisbane so will probably be finished by now.

I'm undecided on the season pass (if it's available) because I don't have a reliable enough internet connection to play online. But I do have the ability to download updates and whatnot. So I'm thinking I might get the pass since I presume most dlc will be cars and tracks or entire new disciplines like Indy cars, things that are centered around offline play.

Why is it always countries in the middle-east that break release dates!

Please do me a favor Gameseek.

Pre-load complete after 25 minutes :D

Now only need to wait for another 49 hours until I can fire it up... :irked:

On the latest description for the PCARS trailer it states

This suggests that those coming soon cars will be available at launch as well

That'd be great! A couple guys thought they spotted a Bentley GT3 in the launch trailer. Maybe there will be some big surprises for us come release day.

Man, so many absolute prats on Twitch.

Now I remember why I don't bother with that poisonous cesspit known as the comments section.

So I borrowed driveclub to test my t500 out, and I was very pleased. What I am more pleased about, testing pcars on it! After hearing how bad ffb on drive club is and how great ffb on pcars is, I am even more hyped

So after watching the Xbox One stream, here are a few things I noticed

1.) Jeusus, that twitch chat, so many fanboys bagging on the game and saying theyres is better.
2.) To load up a race, its about 40 seconds, to load back into the menu, it is about 15 seconds.
3.) A hell of a lot of settings customization.

Those load times are much shorter than I thought they would be :D

Especially if you run 100% sessions. Load times on all the new gen games have been on the longer side. But when you're spending so much time on track, it's almost a non factor. I say almost - I can already hear (see?) the reviews condemning a lack of rewind as a frustrating factor for the impatient that will restart a race every time they mess up rather than push on.

That seems to be the case with most sites I've read. After an article is posted about PCARS the comments sections is awash with nonsense.

Isnt the disc the most important part anyway? I highly doubt some drops of water on a plastic disc will effect the game at all. At most, the instructional manual might have gotten wet, and no one reads those anyway.

The article says "severely damaged"

I imagine the majority of stock was submerged for quite a time.
