In regards to my comment "hence, 60 fps", at the time I was thinking in terms of the example you, funnily enough, brought up, the ps3 gt games (as in if they get titled as 60fps PCARS deserves to as well as they suffer the same drops).
Except that my point was that GT5 and GT6 should never have been labelled as 60fps either, because they're really not.
I've been fighting that particular battle with people for years, people who tend to be of the opinion that if a game can hit 60fps at any point at all it qualifies. It may well do, in their own odd definition, but it's not the definition that most people would think of when they hear 60fps. Forza Motorsport is what they think of, damn near rock solid 60fps except under very exceptional circumstances, and even then only barely under.
I think we're both on the same page here, but there's going to be a lot of people looking for information about the game looking to purchase in the next few days and weeks. I think it's important that we're clear exactly what they're getting for their money. GT6 is probably a great example, there are a decent amount of people that had buyer's remorse afterwards because it turned out not to be what it was advertised to be.
I think the good parts of pCARS are good enough that people will buy even knowing about the bad bits. I mean, it's basically F1 2015 with outstanding physics and the worlds most enormous additional car and track pack added in. It's an incredibly good game.
