Have you managed to give it a go yet?

Any thoughts?
I don't have a PS4 so I've been reading a lot of reviews and impression threads before making the decision to buy, as getting the game would essentially be a £350 investment. If I already had the console it may have been a Day 1 purchase.

As it stands I get the feeling that the game is good in parts but overall is not as refined or "finished" as it could have been. I think I'm going to wait a few months and then jump onboard once a few big patches have been applied.

I was hoping to play today but i will receive my xbox one limited edition tomorrow.
Has anyone have any experience with the thrustmaster tx wheel with pCARS ? Are there any problems with the wheel or is it working properly ?

I have an xbox with a tx and with pCARS it works great but I think ffb is a bit of a hit and miss, but that is depending on the car uou choose.

Looks like overall pretty good reviews of the game so far on the PS4. I haven't played a racing game in over a year (traded in PS3 for ps4) so I am very excited to get my hands on pcars. Roll on Tuesday!

Just need to try to figure out a way to convince the wife I need a t300rs now.

And God said, "Let there be feedback" and there was feedback.

I just need to make a spacer for my pedals to set against on my rig so my feet can reach. Then I'm golden and ready for Tuesday!

I hadn't turned a virtual wheel in 7 months after going from X360 to PS4 so to say that I'm ecstatic to have PCars on PS4 is an understatement.

Yea, gotta turn down acceleration sensitivity, as soon as I think im only slightly accelerating im actually 3/4 throttle the steering is off centered by a rumple strip or something and sends the front out to the opposite direction and having no constant grip on steering I cant give it that tiny counter steer to keep me facing the right way.

I need a damn racing wheel!

Just don't stop talking about the wheel for a week and she will ask you to shut up and go buy it. Works everytime for me.

Well I've finally had a play of the game. Ps4 and t300rs. Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

Tried mk1 escorts at brands great fun and the car does little slides on corner exit and you have to be careful with the throttle coming onto the back straight. Excellent.

Then ginetta g40 at Spa. Great track and feels nice to drive. The ginetta sounds great lots of race car noises and a nice 4cyl race tuned howl at the top end.

Then rgt8 at laguna seca. Now getting a bit more power and a tricky track. Took a bit of adjusting as the track is quite different to gran turismo version. However feeling the car go light and looking the brakes going into the crest just before the corkscrew will be my defining early memory of pcars. Plus that car sounds great and lots of lovely guttural sounds on the overrun. Even in helmet cam I know it's spitting flames. The sense of speed coming into the first corner on the limit of adhesion with the outside brake grabbing slightly. Awesome.

Tomorrow I'll try the Caterham classic and then start my career.

Thanks for all the help and advice during the build up to release. This forum has been a huge help to me.

One last thing where are the codes for the preorder cars?
