I'll be honest, the more I play it the more disappointed I get.

Don't get me wrong the driving side of it is fine, and as racing game that's what you want but there are clearly lots of options missing.

Playing with a T500 is a nightmare as it's not built to run on PS4 so I guess the same as the Fanatecs, not having the PS button and the option button means keep swapping over between DS4/Wheel or coming out of all menus back to the main hub to change game settings.

In its current state I don't think you can run a successful race series, after the race finishes there is not a results section so at this moment in time you'll have to take a screen shot of the result after the race and hope its correct.

The replays have no race info and you can't change the view point to any other car so any accidents will be very difficult to review for any stewards involved.

At this moment online is full of idiots (yesterday was fine) so I guess it's the Brits causing all the carnage!

The photo mode and replay mode are both awful.

Being able to select a default livery should have been an option on every car but it's not (small thing but it's still annoying)

But yeah, driving is good.

Can someone explain if you can ever choose your paint scheme? And how is the custom race function?

Yes and poor.

To get your livery go to garage when you select car, go to where ever your car is (mine is use ally touring) then go to select car and scroll through the liveries.

Career: No, paint scheme depends on the team you sign with.
Single race/Online: car selection -> my garage -> select car -> select livery

Custom race: All the usual options... AI strength and amount, race length, time of day and weather settings (including several weather slots and time/weather progression speed). And you can have practice and qualifying. Thats about it, I might have forgotten some in depth options, though.

Thanks guys! Weird system but...not that weird...sort of...maybe...okay so it is. :P

Can you choose what classes are in the race?

You can neither select to Run a race by time ( only laps) nor can you do a race Weekend with 2 (or 3 races ) , reverse Grid or whatever options there would be for the Starting Order of a 2. race... Multiclass is still a joke( what about lmp1, lmp2, gt3 cars at the Same time like at le mans?)...
Yes, the Game feels great, Looks Great but with these features added, ist would feel more immersive if u get what i mean.
Does anyone know whether these things will be added? Btw what about formation lap, wasn't it supposed to be in?
Hopefully someone can answer These million questions ✌️☺️

Wait...we can't do custom race multi class racing?!
 
I must say I do like the track selection in this game. Obviously there's the classics in Spa, Silverstone, Nurburgring etc but some of the lesser seen tracks are great - I've never driven around Brno or Zhuhai before but they're fantastic.

Well as far as I know not That Kind of a proper multiclass
If u do lmp1 for instance there will ne obly lmp1 and lmp2 cars

What happens if you choose multi class and do GT3?

I'm excited to drive around the Bugatti Circuit again, last time I raced on it was in "Le Mans 24 Hours".

If wiki is to believed, then the Superkart is faster than a RUF RGT8.

Fail race did a vid ages back and the Zonda Cinque was slower around Brands Hatch Indy than the Superkart. Took a C-Class DTM to beat it
 
Yeah multiclass is still wip it seems
So i now Took a ruf rgt-8 gt3 roundtable le mans , multiclass, 35 opponents
What happens is, that you have mainly all the different gt3 cars a few vintage fords and the pagani zonda r as well as the the M1 procar

...yeah...that's uh...yeah. :banghead: :indiff:
 
I think i heard somewhere on youtube that thats due to the different Speeds of the cars (r18 to a gt3 eg) that the ai cannot cope with as of yet
