If I set up a cars ffb will it be used in time trial or is literally everything set to default for time trials?

Quick question about brake bias: In the settings you can map your buttons for increasing and decreasing brake bias. But what does that mean? Which one means moving the brake bias more to the front?

Decrease change the bias towards the front while Increase change it towards the rear...

Does anyone of u know how( in career) i can get an lmp1 offer for the World endurance championship? Am winning every race ( startet in tier1, lmp1) but it just wont Happen...

You can assign DRS to any button you want in the controller menu. ;)

Yeah. But there's a little competition going off where I live using the Formula A and you can't change the settings. And since I don't own a PS4, I just need to know what the default is. :)

Not possible. The windscreen banners are part of the 3D car and interior models, and would require modifying the models in order to remove them. This sucks, but a lot of racing games with race-tuned cars have them modeled too.
I wouldn't want them removed, they are authentic. Personally don't have an issue with them anyway :)

OK, thank you.
This designation is misleading and not quite precise in my opinion. I think they should rename it to make clear which one means more to the front and which one more to the rear.

My start of a race is so bad. Any hints?! I put in first gear and when lights go green I push the throttle. Is there more to it?! :)
I sit in first gear, lots of revs, but I'm on the brakes as well. Lights go green, release brakes and blast off!

I usually stay in neutral at start. Can you actually hold the car back with brakes? I guess I'm dumb for never trying that lol
It works great for me and in the few races where I adopted this technique I got away a lot faster than the AI around me. Mind you, I was not at the front of the grid so it might not work so good against the faster AI :)

On GT3s with real assists I found that best method is high revs coupled with handbrake. Yesterday a friend of mine came over and he tried holding brakes along with high revs but the car moved enough before the start for him to receive a jump start penalty...

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that different cars will use different methods to allow for best possible start...

If you don't use a clutch, stand on the Brakes until the last row of red lights appear. Then full throttle for a second while standing on the Brakes and then release brakes just as the green lights come up. Revs have to be high to get a decent start.

If anybody is interested: GAME has some fresh LE copies in stock, it seems: http://www.game.co.uk/webapp/wcs/st...eId=10151&cm_re=Home-_-takeover-_-ProjectCars

Question, I’m in the US, If I order the Limited Edition from GAME.co.uk, Can I use it in the US on my Playstation with no issues??

I really want the Limited Edition Metal Box and Book, I want to keep this with all of my other Limited Edition Games, I only do this for games that have special meaning and I feel like Project CARS fits the Bill as it could be a major turning point in console Racing games.

Do you have the ability to save an in-game replay? And does any one know if a fanatec shifter will work with a t300 on PS4? I'd like to pick up a gear shift but don't really want to spend the money on the thrustmaster shifter.

Yes, we can save replays and I have already saved and watched one.

I think it should work, but I would need others to confirm as I am not 100% sure.

I see lots of cool things about the game after playing it for a while and a lot of things that stick out as should be there but aren't. For example many of the settings don't give you much if any info on what they do. Would be nice if there was a little text that popped up for each of them explaining what they do in simple terms. I see quite a few that I am not sure what they would do and have no info beyond the name of the slider.

I'm not sure about the liveries if they will appear when you get n the car again after having set one or if they are tied to a tune or if they just stay until you switch cars, the latter would not be cool. Would be nice to be able to get the livery you want on the car without having to go through the selection process each time you choose the car.

When racing online would be nice if it would display each players best lap on the info screen at the end rather than just their total race time and position.

Would be nice to be able to set up a time trial lobby and compete for fastest lap times in a group. This mode should have collisions turned off so each driver can drive his/her line and no possibility of drafting other cars for faster times and of course those times could be posted to the leaderboards.

The digital manual seems to be pretty lacking when it comes to info on setting up the game, FFB and other car related settings. Some of them are pretty obvious to those of us that have been around but even veterans are likely to find that they are not sure what some of that stuff does and thus far I have found no info on it.

I agree with your comments. Most WMD members agree too. We all wanted better UI, but for now it is what it is. I think they will improve at least some of it for sure

This is some thing I want to bring up since I've been playing the game and its got to do with the whole ghosties debate that was going on before the game was released, I haven't seen as much about it since the game came out but my god, for me, it is really bad. To the point that I'm actually getting headaches from the bluriness.
And before anyone asks its not my tv, its brand new practically and everything else plays on it perfectly.
I don't know if anyone else is being affected by this too, but I really hope it gets fixed in an update because I'm really enjoying the game apart from that, but I can't really stay playing a game that's giving me headaches.

I'm seeing it pretty bad too, not quite to the point of headache inducing but not far off in certain circumstances. Would really love to see that slider introduced so we can tone it down to our own tastes.

I have to be honest I haven't seen any ghosting or I'm just not looking at what is being ghosted.

Is it certain objects or certain conditions in which it occurs?

Time Trials use whatever tune+FFB you have saved for that car/track combination, you just can't edit the settings while in Time Trial mode for some reason. If you have never tuned the car for the track you're doing the TT on, you get the default tune and FFB. It's also possible in the garage to take any tune and save it to any other track and to save it to all tracks if you want to. I think once you figure out how to get a car to drive the way you want, save it to all tracks, then make small adjustments when you get to that track for gearing and other things.

I saved a setup for Spa then tried to save it for another track and ended up with 2 totally different setups but ill mess around with it some more I suppose.

Well isn't Pcars a lot of fun?

So I'm currently going through the Clio Cup and completed Donnington Park easy at AI 70% I even managed the fastest lap in the second race. So I head over to Snetterton and this is where my newly formed relationship is starting to fall apart...

Not with the game but my pit crew. Race 1, I managed to get a poor 12th, it did have a light shower on the second lap and I qualified 14th so it was to be expected.

I take a deep breath and head into the second race hoping for a better result. It puts me at the back of grid in 19th and we set off, I make up a fair few places and I'm sitting quite nicely in 10th after the first lap. Now it's time for the all mandatory pit stop, I head in with half of the field and pull up, then a message pops up (I have my team manager on mute) the crew can't get my wheel off as a nut is stuck!!! RNG hated me in Destiny and now I'm getting trolled again.

I finished 14th and I was not a happy chap, but I really enjoyed it. I think mechanical faults might need to be turned on for added fun.

Yes im not sure about this, car we tune the TT cars ?
Johnny said we could, but to test it you can take a tune and change the transmission from stock and save that setup to whatever track the TT is on and see if the gearbox is how you set it once you start the TT.
