Quick question; so far I havent been able to create my own tournament, only solo race weekends. Am I missing something or will this be implemented later?
 
how invitational events works? i started from touring with the clio cup and after 3 races (silverstone now) i got invitited to a kart league in november.
when i watched career videos on you tube there were a lot more invitational events starting from kart.

i got that one too. have you tried to enter it? i think mine wasn't selectable. perhaps because it's in the future?

i just got an email stating on 3/11 we invite to this kart trophy. nothing else... however i still can't drive karts in this game.
 
Holy snot this game is stressful sometimes.

Practise in the RGT8 at Brands Hatch. Sort of managed to learn how to string a decent lap together, and then halfway through my outlap in quali it starts raining. 🤬.

Now I've got to nail a hot lap first time before the track gets fully wet. Did OK, not great because I was being a bit cautious, and rightly so because after that lap there was no chance of trying for another competitive time. Far too wet.

Then in race it's full on chucking it down. There's big accidents at the first couple of corners to dodge, and then I stuffed up by getting too aggressive and trying to go side by side through one of the fast bends. Tapped the other car because I went in too hot, we both lost it and ended up in the gravel. Spent the rest of the race trying desperately to catch up with the pack but couldn't, because I really wasn't much faster even than the backmarkers. And I had a bent wheel, so the car wasn't tracking straight.

Then had to take a little rest, because that had been 45 minutes of constant stress and my arms were so tense I was getting all twitchy.

I completed maybe 20 races online in the last few days and the amount of terrible drivers out there is enormous. Out of a grid of 15-20 cars you may have 2-3 decent drivers that are fast and considerate. The rest want to play demolition derby. I still manage to get on the podium most times, but it's a stressful experience most of the time. Looks like I'm going back to career mode for the time being, where AI is much better than you average driver and also usually much faster too. Thankful for that! I wish I had time to join some league, but don't think I can due to not having a set schedule.

I'm constantly amazed that people will spend the not inconsiderable amount of money on a current-gen console and
a game like pCARS or Forza 5, then drive it like Mario Kart :confused:

Wait a few weeks, thats what I'm doing.
the kids will have gotten bored with it and the serious drivers stay.
Also people will have gotten more practice.
 
Well isn't that great. I've heard numerous reports that the t500rs isn't any good on pcars. Feel like I've wasted 400 dollars.

I'm assuming as time passes and people get more acquainted with their wheels, wheel tunes will start showing up?

Whatever happened to this game having penalties? It was the one thing i was looking forward to the most and in the end you barely see anyone getting a pen unless your coming back onto track and hit someone which will disqualify you.
 
I figured out how to get my Limited Edition DLC. But I can't get the Modified car pack. The code from the game email with my modified car pack code does not work or has already worked when i tried to enter it into hte dlc-projectcars.com website. But I don't know what to do as i don't have any other code to get the modified car pack. Or does the modifed car pack come free with the Limited edition car pack code??

@notanexpert : There is a bug with the T500 on ps4. TM and SMS knows and a fix is developed as we speak (well ok, probably it will be further developed on Monday sice its a weekend... :D ). On PC, the T500 is great with pcars, I never read much complaints during development and one of my buddies had a T500 before switching to a CSW V2 and loved it with pcars.

How the **** do I download the DLC for Project CARS. I went to register on Bandai Namco website I create my profile and receive all points for creating and completing the profile. Now I put in the codes from my LE voucher leaflet on to the dlc-projectcars.com webpage. It asks for the code your country and email address. When i go to my bandai namco account to the My colllection tab. It tells me I have the game Modified car pack for project cars on PS4 platform with 100 points, and then underneath Project cars Limited edition on PS$ with 1500 points. I have no idea how to get the dlc or dowonload it. I've never had so much trouble trying to register a game to download DLC. How do I get the limited edition car pack and the modified car pack. Theres no where on the bandai namco website profile where I can download it. ????

The DLC Codes have to be redeemed directly in the PSN store. Your content will be unlocked right away since it is already on your Harddrive. It has nothing to do with the Bandai Namco website.

I understand this. I just entered the code I got with the LE game and it has downloaded and installed. My issue now is the dlc code for the modified car pack doesn't seem to work on psn??? I received the modified car pack code from a game email. How else do i get the 3 modified car pack??

Have you checked ingame if the three modified cars are not already there? A DLC code from an email, not working, usually means that this DLC code already has been redeemed, either by you or by someone else. In the second case, you have no choice besides reporting your problem to your vendor and demand a new code.
