Why does people who play with a pad have to adjust steering deadzone, sensitivity etc are these not wheel settings? I have never come across a racing game where you have to adjust so many settings for a pad.. this could be the reason people are struggling because the game was designed around people who use a wheel? And I have still not found the right settings for the pad I use and it's fustrating me as I can't enjoy the game

Have you checked this thread for pad settings? https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/dualshock-4-steering-settings.328144/

Even if you're not using a PS4, the most relevant settings for smoother steering should probably the same on other platforms.
I'm actually back to playing primarily with the Dualshock 4 after some mildly satisfying tests with my cheap - and annoying and potentially slightly faulty - Thrustmaster T100 wheel.

With the right settings and a fairly gentle thumb, Project Cars plays really well on a gamepad (some cars easier to handle than others for obvious reasons). At least it does on the PS4.

Yeah I tried changing the controller filtering sensitivity on the Xbox One pad and it seemed to help

Race 2 of the 1st Round of the Clio Cup.
Mandatory Pit stop.

I start the race with only enough fuel to get a little past half way.
No fuel was added during the mandatory pit stop.
Ran out of gas.

Is this my fault? Or is this a glitch?

So there's a new emptybox video on YouTube, and IMO, he makes it seem like all of you backers are raving loonies who are crazy. Haha

He seems like a radicalist who is upset with the system of WMD

I completed maybe 20 races online in the last few days and the amount of terrible drivers out there is enormous. Out of a grid of 15-20 cars you may have 2-3 decent drivers that are fast and considerate. The rest want to play demolition derby. I still manage to get on the podium most times, but it's a stressful experience most of the time. Looks like I'm going back to career mode for the time being, where AI is much better than you average driver and also usually much faster too. Thankful for that! I wish I had time to join some league, but don't think I can due to not having a set schedule.
And there encapsulated in one short post is the reason why single player and good AI is a must in racing games, and why so many of us stay a million miles away from mp. As the years pass AI will keep getting better and better, but real human opponents like these will unfortunately remain the same. I realise that there are good leagues to join out there but that is dependent on time zones and a host of other factors to race regularly.

Ok so far I've driven the Ford Escort on Dubai Autodrome and then took the Caterham Seven Classic for a spin on the Azure Coast. I'm using my new Dual shock 4 controller. The handling seems weird and twitchy with even the slightest nudge on my DS4 left analogue steering thumbstick. This kinda feels annoying and lessens the experience of simulation feeling. Is there any way to adjust it to make it feel better???

Am i being stupid or is there no way of adjusting the setup of the cars (Wing levels, ride height, gear ratios, spring stiffness etc) as i cannot find an option to do this anywhere. Only adjust fuel level (Which has a bug on PS4 version in that you cannot set the fuel below full as greyed out)

Of course. You can adjust it in your garage. (vehicle selection, then press triangle iirc)

T300 PS4
I'm having really bad vibration in the wheel and it's harder to turn. It's happens about every other session. The FFB telemetry has a white line towards the bottom of the graph that I've never seen before when it's starts to glitch out. Anybody know anything about this?

How many seasons can i do in one career? I have started a clio cup season and am wondering how long i can go for? Can i do more than 10 seasons would love to get into the World endurance championship and win it a few times :).

I was watching a twitch stream of an online race:

Those indicators are going to be and are really useful when there are accidents :)

Hi guys on GT6 you were able to not enter the track and watch the race this came in useful for marshalling races us there a way way to do this on P Cars

Would having assists on 'real' stop me from adjusting brake balance on the fly? bit of a pain having to go back to the garage to make minute adjustments.

Hi everyone,
I started my career in the renault clio cup. When the game started I selected Pro. Now I´m a little bit confused. When I cut corners there is no penalty, when there are Crashes there are no yello flags, and the strangest thin ist the Start. It seems there is a huge tolerance for an early start. I tested it:
Here is what I do: Sometimes I put in 1st gear and go on the Gas, sometimes I go on the Gas first and put in 1st gear when its green. It seems that I have a tolerance from 1sec. to start before its green. That can give me a huge advantage. Every rules in game is set to realistic, damage and penalty are on.
I wonder if this is, because its somewhat of a starter event or if the game is so forgivable ?

Is it just me or does random starting positions not seem all that random in multiplayer? I've been in the same lobby for 10-15 races or so and every single time I've started between 12th-16th, and when I do manage to fight my way through the pack it always seems to be the same people at the front with massive leads because of all the carnage behind them.
