Pausing my career because of AI/rain thing. (Pcars forum does acknowledge it is being reviewed.) I'll spend time doing QRW and tuning. Although I prefer tuning for a purpose (eg. career race).

Hey look, it's Ti-tech! I didn't know he played pCARS too.

On career mode if I want to stick to main contract races and skip invitationals am I ok to go to abandon season now that the races that make up my contracted championship have ended?

He plays Assetto Corsa too...and the leaderboards there look the same:lol:

Do you have a link to that leaderboard?

Well, here's a snippet of his hotlaps on RSR LiveTiming:

From what I can see he's a top 10'er most of the time. Same applies to the GT leaderboards too.

I mean the leaderboard for the PCars rankings:lol:

RSR has an overall Pro Ranking as well, based on 10 events. I've only completed 7 so far but here's the top of the leaderboard:

I was pretty proud of myself for getting within 4/10ths at Vallelunga in the Abarth:sly:

Ben Cornett is an alien among aliens. I've never seen him drive but even without seeing him he's got to be from another planet. Back around Feb March he just starts showing up on leaderboards. I set up some laps, run the RSR app in the game and there's his name at the top of almost every single board he's on. Last count he has 44 track records!!

Oh. :dunce: (Making me look stupid, nice going JP! :P)

Thanks:tup:(for the link:sly:) Not sure if anyone has commented on this, but I think it's absolutely fantastic that there is a mix of platforms on the leaderboards. I had my doubts that they'd get the physics equal on all the pc and console but given the leaderboards I think we can safely concluded that that bridge is crossed, although more data will make for a more definitive conclusion. First time in history, to my knowledge anyway, we can have truly equal cross-platform competiton:cheers:

Can anyone help me with the name of the trance music track that sometimes plays when the circuits are loading up?
Shazam doesn't recognise it and I can't find it on Spotify.

I'm still 1,5 seconds away from you at Brands with the Atom even (damn did i curse driving that car). I'll be back once i straighten that beast out though! (you did tune it no?..)

Same as with the Focus, go to the FFB settings and lower the Fx,Fy,Fz and Mz scales to about 74% to avoid clipping, you will immediately notice a big difference. Then it needs a lot of tweaking trying to get that back end loose. I spent 2 hours yesterday doing that and afterwards it felt a bit better. Car just doesn't want to oversteer no matter what you do to it.
Odd I loved both cars and didn't have to do a thing to get the back out on the Focus, I found it very mobile both in terms of trimming understeer using the throttle alone and getting the back end out by unsettling the rear under braking.

To the degree that I've been using it for physics testing for just that:

Most tuners on WMD are very competitive and they are super serious to not share their insights to stay on top of the leaderboards/mp races. That's why the GTP Tuning Garages are so great. These guys know what they are doing and tinker with setups just for their enjoyment, not to win mp races.

The track name I'm looking for is the song that plays if you leave the game in the main menu, the trailer starts up - its that song

It starts trancey, then operatic, then a rock guitar at the end.

I know, but I don't think anyone knows the name of it, but Stephen. You'll probably have to wait for the OST to be launched/revealed.

Spotify has a bunch of Pcars tunes not sure if it is in their . I know whitch one you are tacking about ,it is good i think somebody said that was an old GTR2 tune . He posted the tune but i cant rember were .

Just bought P:Cars, and oh man. I am impressed! I love the immersion feeling. I love the feeling of the wheel, although its not as good as Assetto Corsa, i'm still quite impressed. I thought PCars was going to be horrible... and just meh. But oh boy i was wrong. Did a GT3 race at Donington Park, i was on my tippy toes. Rain started to come down, my MP4-12C started getting less and less traction. The AI is quite good, they know you're presence, and have there own mind. They dont act like.. GT AI.. Where they all follow the same line.

Quite happy with my purchase!

Cheers.

It's an edited version of the Spa 24 Hours track. Sadly, I don't think the track itself is available standalone.

Well you can work around it, but it's going to cost you a couple of seconds a lap having to get off/on the throttle in order to get the thing to turn. Have you checked for the flat line on the FFB app? The understeer i experienced because the wheel gave me resistance when turning was clipping on my CSR. Just try lowering the Fx,Fy,Fz and Mz scales to 68% and see if you prefer it, for me it did wonders.

Oh, and try the Megane :D

Anyone experience massive weird physics when in career mode and doing the TC2 classic races with the Ford Escort and Mercedes 300 6.8 AMG? Everytime my car touches another I do a crazy barrel roll or just end up in a horrifying wreck. :odd:
