But then people would complain that there are no normal road cars :)
Better for them that they cater for as big an audience as possible seeing the car count is limited to begin with. Besides the GT4 cars come pretty close and that class might expand with DLC too.

To me, that would have them aiming for "jack of all trades, master of none". There are plenty of other titles showcasing roadcars and doing a fine job of it, so rather than offering a small selection that might actually turn people away (the "not enough cars" crowd), I feel like it would be more effective to stick with the primary focus of the game: motorsport.

If we did get the GM license, we'd get a good variety probably...since GM makes it a given that their road cars are in if you want the race cars...so maybe:

Corvette Daytona Prototype (latest version)
Corvette C7.R GTE
Corvette C7 Z06
Camaro GT4
Camaro Z/28

There are definitely the no brainers, but Chevy also had cars in BTCC, IMSA GTP (American Group C), Trans Am, and Group 5 that would really add to some classes.

how can i tune the car when i start a time trial event?
it immediatly puts me in the race without any option to be tuned.. i don't really care about tuning self but the tuninh+g of force feedback

Time trials are not tunable to ensure a level playing field. I don't have a ffb wheel but I suppose you could set it up before you enter the time trial?

really bad choice as force feedback has to be tuned for each car under car set-up, otherwise proper use of the wheel is impossible.

Yeah, that is a pain I should imagine. I've seen much written regarding the ffb needing lots of dialling in for each car. It would seem sensible to me to have had global ffb settings like Forza or GT and let the physics of the cars dictate how the ffb differs between them. Imo of course. As I said, I don't have a ffb wheel so can't comment too deeply on the subject :)

You can tune the cars but you need to do it in the My Garage section (press Y or triangle when the list of cars comes up), then either save the setup for select tracks or all tracks. Once you go in to time trial again the tune will be on the car, I imagine it also saves FFB settings.

My bad  I wouldn't be certain that the tune would save properly though, there have been issues in that department

I've heard about these issues but never experienced them, I save all my tunes for select tracks and never make one tune for all tracks. Is it possible the issue is when saving one tune for all tracks and then making more for specific tracks?

You can use tuned cars in TT's and leaderboard events, you just can't tune it during the event, which is silly. I usually run laps in free practice to set up the car first, do some tuning, then take it to the event and run it. I can't see any reason why we shouldn't be able to tune during the event but maybe one of the big foreheads can explain it:sly:

Can you skip straight to it?

No, you have to finish your contract races as the 24hrs Le Mans generally appears after them in a career season.
I suppose you could simulate your career races to get past them, or reduce them to 1% to get past them quicker.

S am I right that there are two different 24h Le Mans in career mode with one being an invitational event whereas the other one is part of the WEC series?

I honestly thought the Forza 5 community on the Xbox were the worst on the planet, 3 hours of PCars on PS4 and it's safe to say the Forza guys are a bit like angels compared to the PS4 PCars community...Every single corner your used as a brake! Total nightmare...With this being a "proper sim" why are the crashes not being penalized? Were lucky to come across 1 person in a lobby whose interested in overtaking cleanly rather than trying to take you out.

I spend ages trying to find lobbies with a decent amount of laps on a track I like that's not GT3. that's not full of rammers. Finally found a 10 lap lobby, 2 laps in i get a CE ERROR! Looks like SMS doesn't want anyone to enjoy multiplayer properly.

When is the driver network rating thing kicking off?

I honestly think it's because pCars is the first proper racing game to come out on PS4 besides Driveclub. So people that might not usually buy a sim are buying it and treating it like GTA 5 and just having fun hitting people.

They're all either too fast, like GT3s too much, or tuner heads.

Too fast? That just means you get better. Racing faster people makes you better. Not to toot my own horn, but I could qualify on pole just about every race if I wanted too, but I choose not to as I'd rather race then just set hotlaps all race. I got that way by racing people that were faster then me. Eventually I got faster then them with practice.

Not trying to come off as a d-bag either. I'm being serious.

I do agree with the gt3 part though. They get old after a while.
