Hi - can anyone answer a question about how easily the cars get pushed into the air when you nudge? I'm talking about the PS4 version. This is a big forum, I've looked around but I can't find anything.
OK, the AI runs into you quite regularly under braking, and that is bad (I'm an experienced console racer and I don't consider that I'm braking early - my braking points are good enough to close on AI racers when I'm the one doing the chasing) - but bad though this is, what makes it impossible is how easily one side of your car goes air-born, and then to make it worse you get unrealistic hang time, instead of coming back to earth. You can't turn while your wheels are not on the ground of course, so invariably you go off.
So, the AI is too aggressive when chasing, sure, but basically you'd get away with being tapped on the boot a lot of the time if you didn't also get weirdly punted into the air, and then float mysteriously of the track like a low flying blimp. If they fixed this, a clear physics hiccup, then the AI wouldn't seem so... enraging :-)
So, my question is, has this been noted and discussed anywhere else? Might it be something that gets patched? Apart from certain frustations though, I'm loving the game. First console proper sim, it's what I've been after for years.
