In the booklet that comes with the limited edition it says that you can set the race date to any date in race history and the weather will be the same but race date is locked in the options and custom date only goes as far back as 2012. This is when playing in free race weekend. Can anyone help?

Perhaps its a PC feature only?
 
9 lap sprint race. BMW m3 gt4. Pole position. Gets hit in the rear by a motherf###### g55 gt4. Ends up 12th.

18 lap main race. Pits at lap 9 for tires/fuel. Somehow doesn't get any fuel at all, or tires?

I checked my pit strategy, and my setup was active. I specifically put the same tire pressure as standard, I put fuel at 20 extra liters, so what happened? Was there a glitch or did I not do something? By the way, the race was finished with only 0.2 liters of fuel

Surprisingly, I still had a blast doing both races

No refueling allowed during GT4 and GT3 class events.
 
This game continues to spring such beautiful moments on me. Running the Sauber Prototype around Brno...brilliant. Never been on this track before but i love the sweeping corners and the woodland setting. You can use the tyre stacks on the apexes as markers - unless they get hit by the AI hehe! Plus the prototypes look epic on track.

Next venue was Spa - this track looks amazing in this game - love how you can see the grandstands from the other side of the track...nothing disappears or pops up.

there's an annoying tree on the left of the long straight near the end of Nurburgring GP that always pops up without fail that I wish would get fixed, other than that the pop up is fairly minimal in this game thankfully. however there is some texture pop up that appears after the 'magical invisible line' that we see off in the distance, affects the tops of tire stacks quite a lot when there a long stretches of them.

Well I checked the rules and regulations page and it says pit lane is always open for fuel tires and damage... Not exact words but I'm pretty sure it says fuel. Anyway, tires never got changed either

Edit. I stand corrected, no refueling outside of practice. But still, the car felt like the tires were never changed?

Starting to finally pile up wins online. I was stuck at 7 for a while because either getting wrecked or just getting beat. I now have 15. Also getting a lot more podium finishes as well. Online record starting to look a little better.:)
 
Finally got computer sorted and installed this yesterday. Is anyone able to post their G27 settings for PC please? Or link to where it may have been posted already?

Real time (mimicing current, real weather at a particular track) weather and historic weather are PC only unfortunately.

Thanks for the info! On a new note I just finished the main race of the 2nd round of super karts at donnington and during the rolling start I had full steering control over the kart. Has the happened to anyone else?

Has anyone noticed a bug when viewing other people's live telemetry?

For example, if you sit in a practice/quality session and select monitor, and view the telemetry of some of the others, some of them have a strange glitch where the accelerator blips on and off at an incredibly fast rate (constantly) as if they are using an old school rapid fire button.

It's very bizarre?

Is it to do with bad ping or something? I get it a lot and some cars on track unrealistically veer left and right rapidly.
 
I accidently got the trophy where you have to take a staff member out haha. I went into someone quite hard at Le Mans in the sauber - and the trophy appeared! Lucky!

Anyone else got it by accident?

I had one crash into me and still got the trophy :lol:
 
That would be Pete Morrish, lead producer of the game. :D

I got mine by slamming into Jaroslav Turna, the vehicle modeller who made the Ruf GT3 amongst others. That was actually the first trophy I got, thanks to the vanilla controller settings (which Jaroslav ironically helped with), making me spin my RWD P30 at Dubai, Turn 1.
