I tuned my roadcar Audi R8 to be suitable tail happy.. watching the replays I'd never seen so much smoke coming off the tyres. Looking forward to a go in teh Gumpert though.

Is there anyway to see how much petrol your likely to need?

I learned in qualifying for the Formula A race at Sakitto to not cut the inside line at the final corner :

I would be surprised. I'm expecting end of the month. Has 3.0 been released on PC?
Unless SMS has silently turned over the update without informing everyone, then we might see 3.0 this week or next.

Most likely though we probably won't see 3.0 until the 24th and the DLC shortly after (Sony and Microsoft take about 2 weeks to Q&A patches)

I got the trophy for crashing on the first corner and winning the race by cutting across teh first chicaine at Monza :D

Still struggling to get the one for pitting from first and coming out in first. I was about 5 or 6 seconds ahead of the pack on lap 3. The whole AI had pitted and when I pitted on fourth lap I still came out second. Is the AI pit stops faster?

Also on the rolling starts the AI can overtake before the lights go green.... surely that's not right. I like it when the pit guy informs you he'll call the green, then doesn't. Until the restart when he does. Nice work.

On to season four. No contracts as yet. But some Vintage Lotus races!

For that trophy don't need to be first when you pit (you just can't be last). In my case, I got it on an online race where there was a pile-up on first corner at Imola and I entered the pits in 11th and came out in the same position (was fortunate that my pit box was last among those who came in on same lap)

Wow, massive 2.1 GB update! Looks like I might leave my PS4 on rest mode over the weekend because I'm away. Way too big to download now.

I started my career over yesterday and went straight into GT3.

I'm finding that the game truly comes alive when you bump the AI difficulty up and focus on working on car setup in practice sessions. I started out in the M3 GT at Laguna Seca. Car felt very lazy on turn-in, and very slippery on corner exit. Adjusted the tyre pressures for optimal temperatures, found a gear setting that I'm very happy with, and I adjusted the suspension slightly. The car had far less understeer on turn-in, and on corner exit I feel very confident flooring the throttle very early, and just give the car a very slight angle.

Car felt great during qualifying, then I ran laps with a full fuel load and hard tyres and the car felt completely different. I'm really loving this!

Now it's trial and error to see how much fuel I need for a certain race distance.

Ah, that explains it, thanks :)

For some reason I thought the gentleman I quoted was a humble ps4 player .... I really should pay more attention so as not to bother our PC using overlords

Sorry for creating a mass amount of confusion! I am a PS4 player, I must have read it wrong on the official website. Nearly 3 gigs... that's going to take an age from where I'm from! Might be some nice content hidden beneath it, considering 2.0 was 1.8 GB IIRC.
